  • At the close of #MWC2025, Tatjana Wismeth, our Head of Supply Chain & Distribution Intelligence, highlighted the pivotal role of AI in the industry and expressed a desire for educating customers on AI use cases and benefits. But there is an opportunity to also innovate in form factor and design. 📲 Tatjana noted that when it comes to smartphones, consumer considerations often revolve around display sizes, storage, megapixels, and battery life. However, she posed two critical questions for manufacturers: 1️⃣ As AI is expected to change the interaction with technology, isn´t there space for new form factors? 2️⃣ Where do brands differentiate from each other given that AI latest innovations are embedded in virtual assistants? For distributors, there's a silver lining. Not only are replacements expected to positively impact markets, but there is also a stronger collaborative approach between manufacturers and distributors emerging, creating win-win situations. She emphasized the importance of an ecosystem approach. Tatjana also pointed out a crucial aspect that is often undermined - overcoming customer barriers such as security concerns, which is also true in the B2B environment.
