The Hanse-Parlament was founded in 1994 to promote small and medium enterprises in the Baltic Sea region and to strengthen the area’s competitiveness. As a non-governmental organisation it works on a non-profit structure, being financed by public funds. 55 business organisations an 22 universities teamed up to develop qualification and innovation measures for the promotion small- and medium sized companies.
