Made in VET - Applied Research and Innovation 🛠️ ✨On October 16th, as part of the AIRinVET project, we organised an online symposium titled Made in VET - Applied Research and Innovation. During this symposium, we extensively explored the possibilities and added value of R&I by VET institutes, aimed at SMEs in their region. A quick update from our project. At these days, we are gathered together in San Sebastian, The Basque Country Spain, for our final meeting as the consortium of AIRinVET. We use our time among others to discuss the Roadmap and Self Assesment Tool and on the recommendations we have for the VET Education system in the European countries (and all over the world, for sure) and policy makers on both National and EU-level. We are happy that the project officer from #EACEA and partners from our sisterprojects (Nataša Kristan Primšar from the Challenger project and Juan Manuel Mondèjar from the BARCOVE project) also could attend our meeting. This morning, we broadcasted our online symposium live from one of the buildings of our host and project coordinator TKNIKA. We will publish the symposium on our website and Youtube channel in the upcoming days. Also the reports on the Roadmap and the policy recommendations and the self assessment tool will be published on our website and communicated on this LinkedIn page. Exciting Progress in Workplace Innovation! Last week, I had the pleasure of attending the #EUWIN conference, “The Future of Workplace Innovation”. A successful event where experts from across Europe not only shared valuable knowledge and insights but also discussed future developments in this crucial field. As a partner in the Erasmus+ project "Regional and International Education Partnerships for Workplace Innovation in SMEs" (WIN4SMEs), I had the opportunity to introduce this project to the attendees. This was more than just an introduction – it marked the beginning of a unique collaboration, both at the European level and within the Netherlands, to advance workplace innovation. At the European level, networks such as #EUWIN, #Bridges5.0 and WIN4SMES are joining forces to develop a strong European network of knowledge and research institutes, academic and vocational education, SMEs, and governmental bodies with a shared focus on Workplace Innovation. On a national scale, we've also launched a Dutch initiative to consolidate efforts within the Netherlands. Our aim is to foster a research-practice partnership (RPP) focused on Workplace Innovation, bridging the gap between academic research and workplace innovation application. Founding members are Platform Talent voor Technologie, TNO, Saxion University of Applied Sciences, SPRONG Human Capital Innovatie voor Maatschappelijk Verdienvermogen and Baandomein . We were looking for data on low tech, low cost and DIY energy saving solutions and the Partner Consortium delivered. It is now time for analyses --> selection --> creation of blueprints. 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐞-𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭'𝐬 𝐁𝐀&𝐕𝐄𝐓 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭! On September 4th, we held a productive Transnational Project Meeting for the BA&VET project, bringing together the project partners to discuss key developments. One of the main focuses of our discussions was the piloting of 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 that we have already developed. Our project addresses a critical need: The growing shortage of entrepreneurs, managers, and skilled workers, particularly in SMEs. The innovative dual study programs we are implementing, such as Business Administration & Sustainable Management of SMEs and Management of Renewable Building Energy Technology, aim to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical experience, ensuring that graduates are well-equipped with both theoretical expertise and hands-on skills. These programs are designed to tackle urgent challenges, including the green energy transition, climate protection, and technological innovation in SMEs. By combining university education with practical training, we aim to strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs and foster entrepreneurship across Europe. 📣 Hanse-Parlament was happy to share a bit of contagious transnational happiness for Interreg Cooperation Day! Together with other Interreg BSR Projects, we are proud to work towards building a more #resilient tomorrow. #MadewithInterreg In this video we represent our Easy Energy project (seconds 14-16 to be exact) and Dr. Jürgen Hogeforster also makes a star appearance. Easy Energy is a IBSR Core Project which guides municipalities and enterprises on how to reduce energy consumption in existing buildings with simple and inexpensive measures, and prepares energy practitioners to advise on low-tech energy-efficient solutions in the future. #energyefficiency

The final conference of the Prosper BSR project, held in Riga on September 4, 2024, featured an agenda focused on the integration of international employment and support for refugees.
