Interreg Alpine Space is the EU transnational cooperation programme financing cooperation projects across the borders of seven Alpine countries. Through the projects, we tackle common challenges and improve the quality of life of the 80 million inhabitants of the Alpine region. The Alpine Space programme addresses public authorities on national, regional and local level, institutions of higher education, as well as enterprises, business support organisations, NGOs and associations. For 2021-2027, the programme has a budget of € 107 million fron the European Regional Development fund, dedicated to projects contributing to sustainable regional development in the following identified four priorites for the Alps: Priority 1: Climate resiliency Priority 2: Carbon neutrality Priority 3: Innovation and digitalisation Priority 4: Cooperatively managed region
