Here’s an introduction of JSW's Ni plating technology for Clad plates. We perform “Nickel Plating” between base metal & CRA. It affects homogeneity and reliability of bonding. Our “Nickel Plating” is just approx. 50nmT, which does not affect CRA corrosion allowance properties and reduces the risk of cracking under Hydrogen services. Japan Steel Works Group President Mr. toshio MATSUO was on stage in World Nuclear Symposium 2024 in London!!! At COP28 in 2023, a declaration was made to triple the global nuclear power capacity by 2050 compared to 2020. Nuclear power is once again in the spotlight as a clean energy source with extremely low CO2 emissions, seen as a solution to global warming. During the symposium, there was a passionate discussion on "What needs to be done to achieve the tripling of nuclear power capacity by 2050." On stage, Mr.MATSUO delivered a strong statement, saying, "JSW prioritizes the supply of high-quality products and safety assurance. While closely collaborating with our customers, we will leverage our extensive manufacturing experience to effectively meet the increasing demand for large forged products for nuclear power plants." Today, we’re featuring one of JSW M&E’s key products: high-quality rotor shafts for power plants.   JSW M&E supports the energy industry with world-class steel manufacturing techniques, producing high-quality rotor shafts for power plant turbines. These shafts must withstand extreme conditions like high temperature, pressure, and rotation. JSW M&E uses advanced forging methods to create monoblock rotor shafts from large steel ingots, minimizing the need for welds.
