Q-trac has arrived at Tecnogravura As announced 2 weeks ago, the next Q-trac has left K.Walter direction south and is meanwhile installed at Tecnogravura in Portugal. The setup with Q-trac and the various CYON modules convinced Tecnogravura that this is the right way to save costs in rotogravure production by reducing defects, increasing efficiency and quality. The new products do match with the modern approach from Tecnogravura, focused on modernization and digitalization in their cylinder production. ChromeNEO surpassed our expectations…again. A few weeks ago, I shared that we had printed our first production cylinder at Gundlach Packaging Group, and things went smoothly. At the end of that post, I was confident, letting you know we were about to start the next job—a complete set of cylinders printed with ChromeNEO. Well, here’s the good news: it was successful! And let me explain further. While the printing results were spot on, there were a few learnings along the way. These small things didn’t impact the final print, which turned out great. However, they did teach us some lessons about what we could improve. Our strong feedback loop with our partners has once again proven its worth, as we continue to learn and improve. Together, we’re constantly figuring out how to optimize and improve this new Chrome technology. I’m confident that this method will soon surpass the old conventional chrome plating, which, as you may know, will need to disappear over the next few years. #ChromeNEO

Yesterday, a sporty team from K.Walter took part in the B2Run Munich company run. With over 30,000 participants, this is considered the largest company run in Germany. Well prepared, our 8 runners mastered the route and crossed the finish line in the Olympic Stadium. Congratulations to our FINISHERS!

K.Walter on tour: Our company outing has been a tradition for many years, so the K.Walter team set out again yesterday to spend a day together as a nice break from the daily work routine. After a short bus ride, we started the day with a visit to our long-standing customer, #Schattdecor. The company's presentation was interesting for everyone. We then climbed the Kampenwand by gondola, where we enjoyed a great lunch alongside the beautiful mountain panorama. We ended the afternoon with coffee at the Dinzler roastery. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Schattdecor for their perfect hospitality and warm welcome. Your support and partnership are greatly appreciated.
