Our co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer Alexander Kanitz won the award for the best presentation at the International Microelectronics Assembly and Packaging Society (IMAPS) 2024 conference in Boston a couple of weeks ago. The topic of his presentation was "Ultrashort Pulsed Laser Processsing in Liquids for High-Quality Dicing" - or how we say: #LiterallyCuttingEdge The IMAPS 2024 conference featured key notes from companies such as BAE Systems, IBM and Samsung Electronics. I am currently on a delegation trip to Japan with the NRW Minister for Economic Affairs, Mona Neubaur. Not only can I strengthen our ties with the Ministerium für Wirtschaft, Industrie, Klimaschutz und Energie des Landes NRW, the minister herself, NRW.Global Business and some cool NRW start-ups such as cylib, hylane and AHT CleanTec, but we also get to meet leaders of companies such as Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba and National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). During the trip, I also learned a lot on NRW: did you know that 50% of European headquarters of Japanese companies are in #NRW? It’s mind boggling. Let’s continue to invest in this relationship, also with a focus on semiconductors, which is of course dear to my heart. #LiterallyCuttingEdge #semiconductors
