In our session, Louisa shared insights that resonated perfectly with our mission: 💡 Key Takeaways on Mastering Mental Load: 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 “𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐫” 𝐃𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐜 Whoever takes on a task should be prepared to see it through from start to finish. For example, laundry isn’t done when it’s washed—it’s only complete when it’s dried, folded, and put away.     In der Elternzeit am Ball bleiben? ⚽ Nicht immer einfach. 😣 Vor gut 3 Monaten kam mein Sohn zur Welt und jeder, der schon mal länger als 24 Stunden auf ein Kind aufgepasst hat, kann vermutlich schnell erraten, was seitdem meine Themen, Tasks und (neue) Talente sind. Und ich bin ehrlich: Das löst in mir oft einen richtigen Struggle aus. Schon vor der Babypause habe ich mich gefragt, wie ich es währenddessen und auch danach schaffe, nicht den Anschluss zu verlieren. 🤷♀️ Mit dieser Sorge bin ich offenbar auch nicht alleine: Rund 65% der Frauen haben nach der Elternzeit das Gefühl, beruflich den Anschluss verpasst zu haben (Quelle: Statista). Ein paar Strategien, die mir geholfen haben (und vielleicht auch euch inspirieren könnten): 📅 Fixe berufliche Termine (wenn möglich) wahrnehmen: Der Termin für unseren Corporate Influencer Summit, bei dem wir über Trends, Best Cases und auch F*ckups sprechen, stand zum Glück frühzeitig fest. Dank des großen Vorlaufes und der guten Abstimmung mit Michaela Wüst und Laura Duffe, konnte ich dabei sein (Beweisfoto auf dem Laptop hinter mir 😀 ) 📒LinkedIn Marketing Deep Dive: Im Oktober darf ich wieder den #LinkedinMarketing Deep Dive für OMR Education leiten. Allein die Vorbereitung und Recherche hierfür, hilft mir sehr dabei, fachlich up-to-date zu bleiben. 🎧 Trendanalyse: Ob Newsletter oder Podcasts – wann immer es geht, nutze ich die Zeit für Branchenupdates und höre bspw. den Corporate Influencer Podcast von Klaus Eck, Alexander Wunschel, Winfried Ebner und Sophie Rickmann 🤝 Elternzeit-Buddy: Wir bei E.ON haben ein Elternzeit-Buddy-System und durch die regelmäßigen (internen) Updates von meiner Kollegin Karen Peemöller und den Austausch mit anderen Müttern aus dem Team, bleibe ich nicht nur up-to-date und habe weniger FOMO 😉 sondern weiß auch, dass es vielen genauso geht wie mir.
