We would like to thank the team of Jason Goertzen, David Joseph and Peter Thomassen for their research and PowerDNS guest post on the PowerDNS Blog. In 2022 , Peter, together with Matthieu Grillere and Nils Wisiol, tested and evaluated PowerDNS as the basis for an implementation of post-quantum DNSSEC signing with the FALCON-512 algorithm. Now, two years on, it is time for a follow-up post to evaluate how quantum-resistant signature algorithms perform in real world DNS.
