With numerous installations across the UK to come, the Quick-Pig Station eliminates the need for an individual to enter into a manhole, significantly reducing safety risks. Moreover, the technology offers substantial cost savings. For instance, when cleaning rising main pipelines up to an OD of 225mm, the operation can be carried out by a single person, enhancing both efficiency and safety. What an overwhelming evening for us yesterday! Together with our partners Glanville Environmental & South West Water we were nominated for the Innovative Technology Water Award at the Utility Week Awards. Unfortunately, we didn't win the award, but being nominated here shows that our Quick-Pig has great potential. We continue and are proud to have been shortlisted. Congratulations to NWG (Northumbrian Water Group) for winning the award. Winning the UKSTT Awards and the final yesterday marks the end of an exciting year for us in the UK. We are delighted to announce that Nico Hindriks, Area Sales Manager Quick-Pig at Reinert-Ritz GmbH, will join us at The All Ireland Water & Wastewater Expo on the 21st of November 2024 in The Leopardstown Pavilion, Leopardstown Racecourse, Dublin. Nico has been responsible for wastewater for more than 4 years now. Initially for Germany to facilitate the work on Rising Mains there. With his experience, he has been able to build up the product internationally and develop markets such as Switzerland, Scandinavia and the UK. His daily tasks include opening up new markets and continuously developing the product. Contact with users is always important in order to design the product for everyday use. Thanks to the many advantages of the Quick-Pig (health & safety, no manholes, etc.), the product stands out due to its simplicity and facilitates access to rising mains and also to new potential markets. Das war’s! Die erste Quick-Pig Konferenz ist offiziell vorbei und wir sind mehr als überwältigt! Wir hatten spannende zwei Tage und sind froh über die positive Resonanz unserer Teilnehmer und Referenten. Ca. 30 Interessierte, darunter Ingenieure und Kommunen aus ganz Deutschland, haben sich erst unser Werk angeschaut und dann selbst Hand an der Quick-Pig Teststrecke anlegen dürfen. Am heutigen Tag lag unser Fokus komplett auf Abwasserdruckleitungen, da diese in der Unterhaltung oftmals vergessen werden. Durch spannende Beiträge und Diskussionen konnten wir viele Punkte ansprechen und die Teilnehmer über die Wichtigkeit dieser Leitungen sensibilisieren. Vielen Dank an alle Mitwirkenden/Teilnehmer und wir freuen uns auf die Quick-Pig Konferenz 2025. The first Quick-Pig conference is officially over and we are more than overwhelmed! Around 30 interested people, including engineers and local authorities from all over Germany, first took a look at our factory and then had the chance to try out the Quick-Pig at our test track. On today's day, our focus was entirely on Rising Mains, as these are often forgotten. Through exciting presentations and discussions, we were able to address many points and sensitize the participants to the importance of these pipes.
