A charity close to our hearts! Good luck with the walk and fundraising Norman, Pearl and Jayne
The Christie Hospital undertakes cancer research and treatment and is the largest single site cancer centre in Europe treating more than 60,000 patients a year. It is also the first UK centre to be accredited as a comprehensive cancer centre. Based in Manchester, it serves a population of 3.2 million people across Greater Manchester and Cheshire while more than a quarter of its patients are referred to it from across the UK. The Christie Charity supports the work of the Christie Hospital by providing enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds. Donations and Gifts make a huge difference to the care and treatment that The Christie is able to provide to its patients and their families. We have experienced this support first hand through the fantastic treatment and care that our daughter and sister, Claire, received and the assistance we have received in the aftermath of her untimely passing. In memory of Claire and to continue our support for the great work that this charity undertakes Pearl, Jayne and myself are taking part in the Night of Neon on Saturday 8th February which involves an unforgettable 5K glow-in-the-dark adventure around Salford Quays. We would like to ask for support from our friends and industry colleagues through sponsorship of our participation in this event Supporting this event will allow The Christie Charity to ensure patients and their families receive the best care and treatment with the latest equipment and provide access to ground-breaking clinical trials. Sponsorship to support us in this challenge, in aid of the Christie Charity, can be made via justgiving – Click on the link below Thank you for your support it is very much appreciated, Norman, Pearl and Jayne
