Why use fossil-based, synthetic textiles when nature has already cracked the code? 🌿 At revoltech, we looked at the waste from hemp cultivation—a crop already working overtime as a carbon sink—and thought: why leave this incredible resource behind? Why not turn it into something that benefits both the planet and the industries we rely on daily? That’s how we developed LOVR™. Our 100% plant-based, biodegradable textile doesn't just feel good—it’s doing good for the earth. No plastic, no toxins. Just hemp residue transformed into a high-performance material. Sustainable? Check. Circular? Absolutely. Made with love for the future? You bet. #HempRevolution #LOVR #SustainableInnovation #MaterialScience #CircularEconomy #EcoFriendlyTextiles #BiodegradableMaterials #RevolutionizingTextiles #CleanMaterials #FutureOfFashion #PlantBasedInnovation #NoPlastics

Ever wondered what happens when you completely reimagine how a company works? We did exactly that at revoltech. Imagine a workplace without managers, where every voice matters, and decisions are made together. 🤝✨ That’s the magic of holacracy—the self-managed model we’re actively adopting to replace traditional hierarchies. With roles spanning R&D, Business Development, Marketing, and Sustainability, our team is driven by purpose and flexibility. While Role Leads offer guidance, everyone has a hand in making things happen. Is this process ever fully complete? Not at all. Holacracy requires us to continuously adapt and stay agile to respond to changing situations and challenges. It’s a work in progress, just like us, as we grow and evolve as a dynamic startup. Is it always smooth sailing? Nope! But the payoff—breaking down silos, sparking bold ideas, and fostering real collaboration—makes it all worthwhile. 🌱 Have you ever worked in a self-managed system like holacracy? We’d love to hear your thoughts and tips in the comments below! 👇

🌳💚 We place a high value on sustainability, which is why it is part of our 10-point plan. A key objective is to integrate sustainable, regrowing materials in our vehicles. 🤝 We already use hemp fibres in various interior components, and now, with the collaboration of Volkswagen and revoltech GmbH, an innovative hemp-based leather is being developed that could redefine car interiors. #Sustainability #Innovation #VolkswagenGroup #IndustrialHempLeather

🌱 Yesterday was a remarkable day! As part of the Bioeconomy Deep Dive project, we hosted an engaging session at the RootCamp office with experts from across the entire industry hemp value chain. Our goal was to discuss the current state of the industry and explore future scenarios. 💚 A special thanks to Bundesministerium für Ernährung und Landwirtschaft (BMEL) and Rentenbank for commissioning and funding this important initiative. We also extend our gratitude to all the enthusiastic participants from corporates, startups, and research institutions: KWS Group, Fraunhofer WKI, University of Hohenheim, Hochschule Osnabrück, Rottal Hanf GmbH, revoltech, GOENOMICS GmbH, Nutzhanf-Netzwerk e.V. and many more. 🎯 We successfully achieved our main objective: fostering multilateral exchange along the industry hemp value chain. Together, we mapped key stakeholders, analyzed drivers, identified obstacles, and brainstormed potential solutions. The consensus was clear: transitioning from a fossil-based to a bio-based economy is essential, and promoting industrial hemp is a vital step in the right direction. 💙 Thank you to all the dedicated individuals who contributed to this insightful discussion: Freya Fehr, Leon Freitag, M.
