What would our world look like if more founders were women and if more women founders got funded? We got a glimpse into this world last Tuesday at the Venturing Women Pitch Day in the Google office in Berlin! 10 visionary founders took the stage to pitch their solutions addressing areas ranging from AI-driven compliance and risk management to sales optimisation to sexual wellness to childbirth assistance and much more. What does a Boeing 737 have in common with our startup competition Venturing Women Pitch Day? Capacity! The 737 model can typically accommodate up to 204 passengers. We collected 201 applications. Which means, we could fly a plane full of women founders to their dream destination! ✈️ What a fun trip would it have been! 🥳 Now, although we can’t physically fly these founders up in the sky, we will elevate them. 🪁 Our team has been tirelessly assessing the decks and we’ll announce the finalists in a couple of days.
