We are very proud to announce that in 2024 Christopher Bauder returns to Kraftwerk Berlin for his biggest and most personal indoor light installation to date: VEKTOR - Memories in Light & Sound 01.February to 07.April 2024 WHITEvoid is responsible for the production of the entire event and the development of the customized control software. Visitors will be able to submerge themselves in a strangely fascinating sound and imagescape spanning over 2000 m2 while Bauder merges kinetic light from 50 moving lasers with a self-composed, three-dimensional soundscape to create a synaesthetic work of art. Sound elements are woven into the three-dimensional musical worlds of VEKTOR, recapitulating the artist's previous work and outlining his path into the future. With VEKTOR @ Kraftwerk Berlin , Christopher Bauder is also returning to one of his absolute favourite venues. After SKALAR and DEEP WEB, VEKTOR is his third monumental installation in this unique industrial cathedral. At its core, VEKTOR stands for the fusion of art and science. Christopher Bauder and his team have therefore teamed up with the renowned Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics IBP ( https://lnkd.in/eCsyN-nX ) to conduct evidence-based research into the complicated relationship between acoustics, art and human experience.
