But the case between two SMEs is also interesting regarding the cost decision. Info
In December 2018, JUVE launched JUVE Patent, an extensive online platform with daily reporting on the European patent market. JUVE has been reporting on the UPC, the European Patent Office and developments at law firms and in-house departments for over twenty years – now also in English. From litigation and law firm news to in-depth reports, rankings and market analysis, we provide daily coverage on the entire European patent market, with a strong focus on France, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. JUVE is a publisher based in Cologne, Germany. Established in 1997, JUVE offers high-quality journalistic analysis on a variety of industries within the legal and tax fields. Our goal is to provide lawyers and tax advisors in law firms, tax consultancies and corporate departments with reliable, independent information on their own strengths and weaknesses, as well as on general market and legal developments. This is what JUVE’s permanent editorial team of specialist journalists stands for.

In addition to the awards given to the lawyers, there is another highlight at the JUVE Awards: the presentation of donations. €155,505 will go to Verfassungsblog. Under the maxim 'No constitution is watertight', the team around Maximilian Steinbeis is committed to protecting the rule of law in Germany. €100,725 will go to VIA IURIS. This is a non-profit organisation that works to uphold the rule of law in Slovakia. In the 'Rule of Law' program, VIA IURIS promotes measures to strengthen the independence of courts and public prosecutors' offices and to eliminate political influence. It works to ensure that everyone, including politicians, is held accountable for breaking the law. The second pillar of the program is 'Civil Society', in which VIA IURIS protects the legal environment for free expression, organisations and civic participation.
