We had a great visit from NAHEMA and End-Users at the UGM! 🚁 Yesterday, our Training Solutions team had the pleasure of hosting representatives from NAHEMA - NATO HELICOPTER MANAGEMENT AGENCY and other User Group Meeting (UGM) members. It’s happening now! 🚀 Our team of 5 AI enthusiasts—Simon Hans Schaefer, Dr. Florian Ehmann, Florian Thomas, Long Phil Chau, and Bodo Werner—is competing in the hackathon at the #AI Symposium on Ground Segment Engineering, Operations, and Space Safety organized by ESA Operations, Engineering & Space Safety. Using ESA's Anomaly Detection Dataset, released last year, the team will develop innovative algorithms aimed at advancing the automation of anomaly detection in space operations. Can you imagine? #Hera will do so today: ESA’s Hera mission will use Mars’s gravity to take a shortcut to the Didymos asteroid system, reducing fuel consumption and gaining speed for its journey. This carefully designed trajectory allows Hera to reach its target efficiently, supporting efforts to make asteroid deflection a reliable planetary defense method.
