Somersby is launching its first-ever global artist collaboration with British floral artist Joe Horner. Joe Horner, also known as Flower Blocks, captures the beauty of flowers and fruits through photography, creating artworks that outlasts their natural lifespan. Beyond the aesthetics of his floral compositions, Joe Horner has developed a signature photographic style that invites viewers on a meditative journey into nature. As part of the collaboration, Joe Horner has interpreted the Somersby brand, and its vast portfolio of flavoured fruity and refreshing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. This turned into the art piece “Celebration of Spring”, a frozen composition of fruits and flowers presented in his signature surreal and unexpected style through both video and photography. “I was very excited to work with Somersby, I think we are a match made in heaven. Through this process, I have tried to provide a unique vision of what Somersby is, to express something exciting and fresh," the artist says. Somersby play a vital role in our Beyond Beer growth aspirations. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/dFuT4Dt6 #Somersby #JoeHorner

Om os
This is the official LinkedIn channel of the Carlsberg Group. The Carlsberg Group was established in 1847 by brewer J.C. Jacobsen. J.C. Jacobsen was a true renaissance man. A believer in quality, research and serving the community, he shared his knowledge with fellow brewers. He looked to the future, prizing long-term growth over short-term gain. Today, Carlsberg Group is one of the leading brewery groups in the world, with a large portfolio of beer and other beverage brands. Our beer portfolio spans core beer brands, including local power brands and international premium brands, craft & speciality brands and alcohol-free brews. Our brands are enjoyed in more than 150 markets across Western Europe, Asia and Central & Eastern Europe, and we hold a number 1 or 2 position in more than 20 markets. We strive to brew better beers, today and tomorrow. Doing business responsibly and sustainably supports that purpose – and drives the efforts to deliver value for both our shareholders and the society. Sláinte! 1664 Blanc is now pouring in Ireland! As official sponsor for Dublin Horse Show, 1664 Blanc is launching nationwide in Ireland. It’s hard to say if it was the talented horses and jockeys, the playfully elegant outfits or 1664 Blanc that stole the show at this fashionable event. But one thing is for sure, 1664 Blanc was the right (out)fit for the occasion! Aside from this key event, 1664 Blanc is being supported by experiential samplings in select image bars, TV & digital media campaign and painting the trade blue with Blanc displays. 1664 Blanc is a key driver in delivering long-term growth with our Premium portfolio. Well done to the great collaboration between Diageo and Carlsberg Export & License for making the beer in the blue bottle available to the Irish market 💙 #CarlsbergExportandLicense #1664Blanc

For nearly one hundred years, it has been a Carlsberg-tradition to honor 50-year jubilees with a painted portrait. On August 1, 1974, Merete Yding walked through the doors at Carlsberg. And for 50 years she stayed at our company, until her recent much-deserved retirement. To celebrate her 50-year anniversary at our brewery, we recently unveiled her portrait at the Carlsberg Museum - where she joins a long line of devoted employees who spent their entire careers with us, and had a painting hung as recognition. Around 150 in total. The tradition dates back to 1928. Meretes portrait is painted by Danish artist Mikael Melbye. Thank you for everything, Merete! 👏🌟🍻

Carlsberg China is stepping up its efforts to enhance the ecological environment along the Yangtze River in China 🏞️ Carlsberg China officially launched its ambitious water replenishment project in the Yangtze River Basin at the recent 2024 China Yangtze River Protection and Development Forum 🚀👏 This project aims to restore wetlands and purify water sources across Chongqing, Yunnan, and Jiangsu, contributing to the protection and sustainable development of the Yangtze River: We're enhancing the local wetland landscape in Yunnan to improve habitat quality for the Black-necked Crane, constructing new wetlands in Chongqing to purify domestic sewage, and improving biodiversity and purifying aquaculture wastewater in Jiangsu. The Yangtze River Economic Belt is a crucial region for China’s economy, encompassing 11 provinces and municipalities that contribute over 40% of the country’s GDP and house more than 600 million people. Carlsberg China is committed to supporting this vital region. “With 19 breweries located within the Yangtze River Basin and more than half of our sales volume coming from the Yangtze River Economic Belt, we are dedicated to executing ‘Together Towards ZERO and Beyond,’ our global ESG program there,” says YI XIE, Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Carlsberg China. “This includes collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance the ecological environment of the Yangtze River Basin,” he adds. All project initiatives are expected to be completed by 2025. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/djnF8PRD #Water #CarlsbergChina #YangtzeRiver

Fermenting fresh ideas: Introducing the world's first beer made without the use of any barley or bittering hops, but 100% of the ancient West African grain fonio. The beer, brewed in the Carlsberg Research Laboratory, has been created as part of Brooklyn Brewery’s ‘Brewing for Impact’ campaign. Its aim is to spotlight the drought-resistant grain fonio and its untapped brewing potential and ability to drive positive change in the industry. “Curiosity is intrinsic to our values at Carlsberg, with the belief that we can push the boundaries of progress if we all embrace a little curiosity," says Lynsey Woods, Global Brand Director at Carlsberg. "When Brooklyn Brewery approached us with this brilliant initiative and opportunity to create something truly unique, using a grain that has untapped potential, we couldn’t wait to get innovating," she adds. 1664 is thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration with the globally renowned artist André Saraiva, also known as Mr. A. The collaboration with 1664 will feature a “creative takeover” of the beer's labels and packaging, showcasing André’s graffiti style as if spray-painted directly onto the existing 1664 bottles and merch. Instead of transitioning from street art to gallery exhibitions, André has chosen to integrate his artistic vision into the nightlife scene. He has decorated numerous clubs and nightlife venues in major cities such as Paris, New York, and Tokyo, infusing these spaces with a sense of utopian friendliness and vibrant energy. His artistic contributions have made significant impacts on the atmosphere and culture of nightlife across these metropolitan areas, and the artist has become synonymous with a free-spirited mash up of art, fashion, street style and fun. The collaboration with 1664 is unveiled during Copenhagen Fashion Week and is the latest example of the Carlsberg Group's focus on unleashing the value-creating potential of our premium brands. Carlsberg partners with the biggest advertisers and social platforms (Google, Meta, Pinterest, TikTok and X) to prevent underage drinking. Through the International Alliance for Responsible Drinking (IARD) and WFA, World Federation of Advertisers, Carlsberg is teaming up with multiple social media giants to strengthen the standards of online alcohol advertising. A fundamental issue is users misrepresenting their age when signing up to social media platforms, making it more difficult to avoid underage people when advertising. But new technology, like AI-powered age-verification, might just solve the problem 💡 Learn more in this interesting BeverageDaily piece: https://lnkd.in/d9wSTmnj Carlsberg Group is working #TowardsZERO irresponsible drinking by 2030, among other initiatives through adding age-gates to all our social media channels.
