She’s the Global Managing Partner at Manyone, a company she co-founded, and has also made her mark at Designit. Sofie works with global companies on complex challenges, offering insights and strategies to help them stay ahead of trends and meet evolving customer needs. With a joint master’s degree in Industrial Design Engineering from the Royal College of Art and Imperial College, London, Sofie is ready to spot design solutions that can positively impact the future. Meet Banny Banerjee – the latest addition to our jury this year 👋 With 20 years of experience in architecture, product design, and engineering, Banny specializes in addressing complex issues and creating sustainable solutions. He collaborates with businesses, governments, and international organizations such as the United Nations and World Economic Forum. Banny focuses on developing platforms and strategies to address major global issues such as biodiversity, oceans, climate change, energy, land use, food, water, and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, emphasizing scalable sustainability solutions. As a jury member, Banny is eager to see the creative solutions Danish designers will bring to tackle future challenges, underscoring the vital role of design. “In an era of profound change and existential threats, the urgent need to shift from a probable future to a desirable one is fundamentally a design challenge.” – Banny Banerjee. Her transdisciplinary, geographically mobile practice resonates worldwide through exhibitions, installations, talks, texts, performances, and exhibits.
