FSC™ Forest Week 2024   This week, we are celebrating FSC™ Forest Week together with Forest Stewardship Council and reaffirming our commitment to responsible forestry and sustainable sourcing practices. At ferm LIVING, we prioritise working with FSC™-certified suppliers to ensure our products are crafted from responsibly managed wood, supporting the preservation of forests, biodiversity, and fair working conditions.   This year, we would like to spotlight one of our suppliers from Lithuania, who has been proudly FSC™-certified since 2004. This supplier produces several of our notable wooden design pieces, including the Kona Bookcases and Stilt Sideboards, both of which are crafted from FSC™-certified wood. Their dedication to a sustainable mindset goes beyond certifications; their facility maximises the use of natural daylight with transparent rooftops in all new buildings, demonstrating their commitment to energy efficiency and environmental stewardship.   Additionally, we have onboarded this supplier into MÅLBAR's Climate Screening Tool. This allows us to quantify the CO2e footprint of our products and raw materials, laying the groundwork for future initiatives focused on responsible design and production.   Over the past year, we have expanded our network of FSC™-certified suppliers and the number of certified products in our overall collection.
