Last Friday, our colleague Jonas Birk Holm took on the role of judge at DTU - Technical University of Denmark GRØN DYST. 🌱 GRØN DYST highlights DTU's focus on socio-economic and environmental sustainability across its programs. This year around 80 students and approx. 40 projects participated and were judged by representatives from businesses, political life, and universities.   "I was impressed by the quality and diversity of the projects, as well as the enthusiasm and professionalism of the students. They demonstrated how engineering can make a positive difference in the world, and I hope they continue to pursue their ideas and dreams," says Jonas. 🙌   Our participation in GRØN DYST aligns with NNE's social sustainability focus. Today is International Women in Engineering Day👷♀️👷♀️ We would like to take the opportunity to celebrate the amazing work and achievements of two of our dedicated engineers in NNE India.   Meet Gayathri Sivaramakrishnan, Manager, Process Automation and Zaiba Ghani, Engineer, Piping & Distribution. Both insist on always following their dreams and passions to build towards a brighter future.   “I had to bust the myth that engineering is never the first choice for a woman. I have always wanted to pursue a career in engineering to create an impact in shaping the advancement of our society,” says Gayathri.   “As a student, I always liked fixing things to make them work better. Therefore, choosing engineering was obvious as I knew this area would never bore me. On #INWED24, I want to empower more women to dive into the engineering world where they can unleash their potential and creativity. Break the stereotypes and join the passion,” adds Zaiba.   Kudos to all the strong women in engineering!💪

Yesterday, our office in India held a remarkable All Hands meeting, bringing colleagues across different departments together to celebrate our first quarter achievements. In an exciting twist, we embraced innovation by incorporating QR codes at all tables, allowing everyone to engage more closely with our NNE Management team. The agenda was to discuss project-related queries and facilitate close interaction, and this interactive format indeed ignited a collective spirit of innovation and collaboration. A big shout out to all colleagues for the good energy and drive to make this a splendid evening!👏

Last Friday, more than 900 colleagues kicked off summer with a great party at Galopbanen. 🎉 The night was filled with diverse entertainment, including a horse race, a live performance by Benjamin Hav, and a DJ spinning tunes all night long. 🎶 Thanks to everyone joining for such a fun night. Here's to the next one! ☀

Proud moment for us at NNE! We are ranked as the 3rd most attractive place to work among engineering professionals! As we send our congratulations to Novo Nordisk taking 1st place and the LEGO Group taking 2nd place, we are thrilled to be ranked as the 3rd most attractive company by Ingeniørens Image Analysis 2024. This is the best result we have ever achieved. Further, this years results point to NNE being: 🥇 No. 1 among engineering professionals in the consulting category. 🎓 No. 5 among engineering students.   Ingeniørens Image Analysis examines the 90 largest engineering workplaces in Denmark. Around 6,750 students, engineers and technical specialists participated in the survey to cover various aspects of their preferences, including salary conditions, job satisfaction, working conditions, and career development.   Thank you to everyone who participated. Today NNE is participating in the Danish conference "Projektledelse i Praksis" hosted by IDA.  With insights from our own Jens Lindhardt the participants could hear about his experience with unlocking project pitfalls in Project Management. As Vice President for Portfolio & Project Management Jens brings over 25 years of experience to the table. His multifaceted career has spanned continents and industries, making him a true thought leader in the field. In today’s complex projects - some even reaching the “trillion-class” - Jens dived deep into how we can “live the context and kill the assumptions” by understanding the complexities of each project environment. By doing so, we can challenge assumptions, mitigate risks, and drive successful outcomes. Key takeaways from Jens' presentation: 1. Contextual Awareness: Whether it’s a global initiative or a local venture understanding the nuances in your context is crucial. 2. Assumption-Erupting: Assumptions can lead to project pitfalls and asking the right questions can help eliminate such. 3. Earlier this month, we gathered around 330 colleagues for our Automation & IT Summit 2024 to celebrate collaboration and innovation! Despite our busy schedules, we were able to connect and create this memorable event together. 🙌 More than 60 colleagues came from our office in India to take part in this summit. At NNE, we value how we work together as one team across countries, and this exactly showcases the essence of that feeling. “The highlight of this event was bringing together so many colleagues from Denmark and India, enabling us to meet and to share our passion for technology with one another in the context of our business priorities,” says our Corporate Vice President in Automation & IT Thomas Sichmann.
