This week, we had the pleasure of attending the Life Science Totalday at the Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark. It was a pleasure meeting and connecting with so many talented students from diverse scientific backgrounds and discussing potential career opportunities at Orifarm. October marks Cyber Security Awareness Month, and Orifarm is working continuously to stay ahead of the curve. Throughout the month, our cyber security team will be sharing insights into the latest cyber-attack trends, equipping the entire Orifarm organization with the knowledge to identify and combat these threats. From phishing emails to deepfake, cyber criminals are becoming more and more difficult to spot. As a larger pan-European company, we keep an eye on the developing cyber landscape to improve our people’s knowledge about cyber risks protecting ourselves and our partners. Stay informed, stay secure! 🔐💡

“Test it, try it, grab a prompt cheat sheet!” Today we officially launch OriChat, Orifarm’s very own innovative global GenAI tool 💡 OriChat is now live and accessible to everyone in Orifarm. It’s meant to make daily life easier just as open AI tools, but on our own private and secure cloud. A huge applause to everyone involved in making today’s launch possible - from the core project team to our 50 AI Influencers across the organization. We’d also like to give warm thanks to Casper Guldager from KPMG for giving a talk on the use of AI at the launch event at our headquarters in Odense, Denmark 💻 💬

Proud to share that earlier this year, Orifarm was honored with a nomination for a sustainability award at Apotek Hjärtat’s ‘Leverantörsträff 2024’.     The recognition of this nomination for the sustainability award shows our commitment to sustainability and involvement of the Science Based Targets initiative. The Science Based Targets initiative has a net zero emission, which has been a focus point for Orifarm. Orifarm has greater focus on sustainability and has been a motivational factor for our company, by great effort and inspiring innovation across our company. We are looking forward to continuing this journey towards a greener future. 🌱

Orifarm and Polenergia Fotowoltaika kickstarts a new cooperation to construct a photovoltaic farm at our manufacturing site in Łyskowize, Poland. ⚡️ Farms with a capacity of up to 1.25MW ⚡️ Reduction of production costs ⚡️ A milestone towards zero emissions ⚡️ Supporting sustainability development and green energy Polenergia is a significant player in energy production from renewable and low-emission sources and distribution and was the first-ever Polish company that subordinated its vision of development to building a zero-emission economy. This mission aligns perfectly with Orifarm Manufacturing aiming to have zero emission by the year 2032.  

Thank you for an amazing CPHI Milan experience!   We had an incredible time at CPHI Milan 2024, with a team of nearly 30 colleagues from 5 different departments attending. Our Specialty Rx team alone held almost 200 productive meetings, making it a truly successful event.   A big thank you to all our partners and new connections for the insightful discussions and shared opportunities. We are committed to green transport solutions for a sustainable future! We are constantly working on reducing our environmental impact and improving efficiency through a variety of innovative transport initiatives. “At Orifarm, we prioritize green transport solutions and continually work to reduce CO2 emissions through various initiatives, which pays off for us financially and save hours of transportation, but it also saves society a lot of CO2 and reduces the number of vehicles on the road. This means that we release as little CO2 as possible, use as little fuel as possible, and are as efficient as possible,” says Soren Slott Sorensen, Department Manager, Global Transportation. 🚚 Double-deck trailers: These trailers allow us to transport 66 pallets in two layers, reducing CO2 emissions and the number of trucks on the road. Efficient and environmentally responsible! 🚚 Modular road trains: We use 25-meter-long modular road trains whenever it is possible, which reduce CO2 emissions per pallet by up to 42%! We're proud to see many of our transport partners using solar-powered trailers for even more environmentally friendly impact. 🚚 EURO6 engines: All our transporters run on EURO6 engines, which guarantee lower emissions and efficient fuel use. We also encourage continuous reporting of CO2 emissions to ensure continuous improvement. 🚚 HVO diesel: Starting in September 2024, we transitioned our container transports between the two Danish cities Fredericia and Odense to HVO diesel – reducing CO2 emissions by up to 90%. While being more expensive, we believe investing in green solutions is the right choice. 🚚 Collaboration is key: We work closely across departments to ensure that every truck is fully utilized, reducing the number of trips and preventing half-empty trucks on the road. Sustainability is at the heart of our logistics strategy, and we are always looking for ways to innovate and make our supply chain more sustainable. 🌱

Meeting new talents is crucial for Orifarm as it helps us stay innovative and forward-thinking. We believe that fresh perspectives and new ideas are essential for driving our company forward. Academic fairs provide the perfect platform to connect with potential future Orifarm team members. We recently had the pleasure of participating in the Academic Career Fair at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, where we engaged with many motivated academic students, recent graduates, and professionals. We had great conversations about opportunities at Orifarm, our company culture, and Orifarm as a workplace. The energy and enthusiasm from the attendees were infectious, and we left with many valuable conversations. Now we’re excited to keep the dialogue going and explore the potential for future collaborations. Next week, we will participate in the Life Science event at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark. We look forward to engaging with enthusiastic science students and discussing the exciting opportunities at Orifarm - hopefully we'll see some of you there.

📢Raising awareness about mental health issues on World Mental Health Day📢   Today we raise awareness of mental health issues globally by providing attention to #WorldMentalHealthDay. Mental health issues are a global problem, that has cost many peoples’ well-being to suffer. At Orifarm, we focus on how our colleagues thrive at work and what initiatives we can provide, when a colleague has either personal, work related, or family related problems that struggles with their mental health.   A safe and healthy work environment is important for Orifarm, and is a priority for the company that all our colleagues thrive at work and in their personal life. #WorkplaceWellbeing #MentalHealthinBusiness
