𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 We have won a competition for a 10.000 sq. meter wooden office building called Woods Oberhaching on the outskirts of Munich🌳 Needless to say, we are very excited about this project and honored that our design was chosen by our client, Proteus. We will base the project on our approach to workplace design, as well as gaining essential knowledge in wooden building design🪵 The three-story wooden office building is intended to be efficient, fully flexible and inspiring for multiple users, offering attractive communal areas and providing plenty of opportunities for variety throughout the workday. Every workplace will have access to private outdoor balconies and terraces. 🎉 We have already had a great kick-off of the project, and we cannot wait to unfold the building in an inspiring collaboration with our German partners. This is truly an exciting step in our ongoing ambition to expand our work in Germany in the coming years🌍

𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗟𝗛 We are excited to announce the promotion of 𝗕𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗲𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗴 and 𝗞𝗶𝗺 𝗥𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘃𝗲𝗶 to Directors. Both Bine and Kim have been with us since the early 2000s, playing key roles in designing places and spaces that bring out the best in people. Bine Soelberg, our new 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, has led numerous workplace strategy and design projects. She will now take a broader position as Creative Design Director strengthening PLH’s design and interior design profile, focusing on inspiration, knowledge-sharing, and sparring, both internally and externally. Bine’s visionary and inspiring approach will help drive our strategic direction with a strong emphasis on sustainability, innovation, and creating spaces that truly bring out the best in people. Kim Ringvei, now 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, will focus on expanding and strengthening our project competencies capabilities across the organization. With deep experience in leading complex projects and a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset, Kim will ensure that PLH remains at the forefront of delivering large-scale, high-complexity projects. He will also play a key role in developing our methods in response to industry shifts, providing guidance through key phases like project planning, cost management, and risk mitigation. Congratulations to Bine and Kim – these promotions are more than well-deserved!

Newly certified Sustainability Managers at PLH 🌱 As part of our continuous focus on sustainability, we are excited that Andreas, Ana, Sweta and Birgitte just got certified in sustainability management. 🗣️ "I learned a lot about sustainability processes and how to link them with pre-existing architectural and interior design processes. I can't wait to bring that into my work, especially in the early and conceptual phases where it can make a very big impact," says Ana. According to Andreas, "sustainability demands evolve day by day in our profession. I look forward to sharing my new knowledge with my PLH colleagues and trying new things in future projects." What do you get when you let 107 architects and designers loose in Stockholm? 🏃♀️ A lot of looking up, touching, examining and documenting, clearly! Every year wo go on a study trip, and this time the destination was Sweden's capital city. The purpose? To be inspired and continue to bring value to our projects – and of course spend time together in true PLH spirit. On the trip, we saw examples of forward-thinking and sustainable urban architecture, transformations, and interior design. We left Stockholm energized ⚡ and ready to give that energy back to our clients, collaborators and all our colleagues who weren't able to go this time around. 💭 Where do we put our attention? This might be the most powerful question you can ask yourself as an organization, and we did just that at our Strategy Day 2024 last Friday. The day was meant as a starting point for where to focus our attention in the future, grounded equally in who we are and who we aspire to be. Our focus of attention has always been on bringing out the best in people through the transformative power of architecture and design, and to bring out the best in ourselves at PLH. But, on this day we took a step back to reflect and to chip in with our curiosity and ideas on how to best shape our focus as we move forward. What a great day – and what a great starting point for exciting things to come.
