  • Targets ✅ Declarations ✅ Climate goals ✅ Wind farms ❌ Turning our ambitions into actual wind farms means rethinking offshore wind auctions. Current mechanisms add too much financial risk upfront, instead of focusing on promoting project realisation and value creation. 2024, particularly, is a pivotal year - with an unprecedented volume of offshore wind up for auction. If ever there was a time for action, it’s now. Later is too late. www.vestas.com/action

"Making life easy for our customers" Our colleague Allan believes this is one of the factors that make Vestas a technology leader. We are dedicated to pioneering sustainable energy solutions that not only power the world but also protect our planet. Our commitment to sustainability is driven by innovative concepts, transparency, decisive action, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. One of our key initiatives is our circularity roadmap, which aims to reduce waste, enhance operational circularity, and enable blade recycling. This roadmap exemplifies our dedication to creating a circular economy, ensuring our products have a second life and contribute to keeping materials in the loop. We continuously explore new concepts for sustainable energy solutions, from advanced wind turbine technologies to cutting-edge recycling methods.

Announced at #Davos2025 today: we're expanding our partnership with DTEK to power Ukraine’s energy system. We’ve secured a 384 MW order to deliver wind turbines for the second phase of the Tyligulska project, Ukraine’s largest wind energy project. This order adds to the 114 MW Tiligul I order which Vestas received in March 2021 and successfully commissioned in the Spring of 2023.    Key project highlights include:     • Supply, delivery, and commissioning of 64 wind turbines   • Service for both phases of the project through a 20-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement    Read more: https://lnkd.in/dSm23ZJc

  • Why does a thriving wind industry mean a more competitive Europe? More wind energy means: ▪️500,000+ potential jobs by 2030 ▪️Lower and more stable energy prices ▪️Stronger national security, energy independence and economic growth ... helping Europe address low productivity, global dependencies and high electricity prices. A more secure and more competitive Europe is within reach, if we design our future energy system the right way. Reducing red tape and creating a stable energy market is a good place to start. Join us at the World Economic Forum’s #WEF25 in Davos, focusing on this topic. We will showcase key discussions, including a round table co-hosted with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners featuring a keynote from the International Energy Agency (IEA)’s Fatih Birol and welcoming other notable guests.
