General Kamel Al-Wazir - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Industry, and Dr. Alaa Farouk, Minister of Agriculture and the deputy ministers of transport discussing the new #RoRo lines, #TIR implementation, and Greening of Egyptian Ports.

🚀 Welcoming Palestinian Incubator Managers to Egypt! 🇵🇸🇪🇬 CEEBA - Confederation of Egyptian European Business Associations had the honor of hosting 7 Palestinian incubator managers for a study visit to Egypt, aimed at exchanging best practices in: ✅ Industry cooperation ✅ Research commercialization ✅ Digital transformation for private companies ✅ Supporting sustainable startups The delegation was coordinated by the B-Hub of the Birzeit University, with the support of CEEBA. It included representatives from: 🏛 An Najah National University – Technology Transfer Office & InnoPark 🏛 Birzeit University – B-Hub & Mentor Management 🏛 Abu Dis University – BCITE & Startups Management 🏛 Polytechnic University – PPU Incubator & Project Management Unit 🏛 Stichting SPARK – Programme Management & Communications During their visit, they engaged with leading Egyptian entrepreneurship hubs, including: 🔹 Heliopolis University Entrepreneurship Center 🔹 NilePreneurs, Nile University 🔹 The American University Cairo - AUC Incubator 🔹 Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport Entrepreneurship Center The study visit included a 2-day training with the fabulous Marwan Abdin from ACG - Abdin's Consultancy Group and his team giving a very informative training on Digital Transformation and AI for SMES´s sustainability! Dr. Alaa Ezz, with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of 🇱🇺 Luxembourg, H.E. Mr. Xavier Bettel at a business dinner during his visit to Egypt where intensifying economic relations at all fronts were discussed.  The meeting was attended by H.E. Hassan Abdalla, Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt, H.E. Mohamed Abouel Enein, Deputy Speaker of the Egyptian parliament, Mr. Mohamed El Sewedy, Chairman of the Federation of Egyptian Industries,  and Mr. Mohamed El Atreby, Chairman of Federation of Egyptian banks - اتحاد بنوك مصر and National Bank of Egypt (NBE). As a first step, it was agreed to conduct a 👉 business forum at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce about sectorial business opportunities in Egypt. The forum will further explore the potential of 🌍 third country cooperation using 🇪🇬 Egypt as a manufacturing hub to a market of 3 billion consumers without customs or quotas in all of Africa, the Arab World, EU, EFTA Mercosur, USA, Turkey, and UK; and benefit from over € 22 billion of grants, soft loans and Technical Assistance availed to Egyptian companies from various development banks and funds besides the trade and investment guarantees provided by the European Union. Later in the second half of 2025, Deputy Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, escorted by ministers of Finance and Industry shall head a business delegation mobilized by the chamber forum to visit Egypt where FEDCOC/CEEBA - Confederation of Egyptian European Business Associations shall conduct a business forum and B2B meetings to cement the potential cooperation.

A high level panel discussion on trilateral economic cooperation was held with the participation of H.E. Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat, Minister, Ministry of Planning, Economic Development & International Cooperation, H.E. Dr. Mahmoud Esmat, Minister, Egyptian Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy, and H.E. Eng. Karim Badawi, Minister, Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources - Egypt , of the Arab Republic of Egypt; H.E. Mr. Kostas Frangogiannis, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy and Openness of the Hellenic Republic; and H.E. Mr. George Papanastasiou, Minister, Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Cyprus, and moderated by Dr. Alaa Ezz, Secretary General CEEBA -FEDCOC. The event was organized in cooperation with CEEBA - Confederation of Egyptian European Business Associations . During the event trilateral #Egyptian - #Cypriot - #Greek Business council was established by the three national federations.
