SIAC Construction is a leader in luxurious hotel turnkey construction. Our unique project in downtown Cairo is Tahrir Hotel & Office Building Complex. SIAC has accomplished this project through a consortium with Arabtec. The project was turnkey construction of two towers, the first is a 4 stars hotel “Steigenberger” & the other is ‘class A’ office building. The total built-up area is 35,200 m2. Common basement for parking with a total built-up area of 4,250 m2. Each tower is composed of the ground floor and 10 typical floors. The 4 stars hotel comprises 297 rooms with a total built-up area of 18,271 m2. The office building total built-up area is 12,682 m2. The contract included civil, architectural, finishing, MEP works & landscaping. SIAC is proud of its projects in the power sector. A notable landmark in Behera Governorate is Al-Mahmoudiya Thermal Power Plant. This plant was part of the Egyptian Ministry of Electricity's emergency plan. Our scope of works included civil works for the power plant that consists of two turbines (168 MW each), a control and GIS building, related service buildings, and an administration building. Despite the poor soil conditions that required installing more than 500 piles, the project team successfully completed the project and connected the plant to the main grid in just five months!
