👩🏻💻 #MeetOurTeam | Today, we're thrilled to introduce one of our recent arrivals and an expert in sustainable urban #PublicPolicies. Meet Berta Fernández Gallego, who joined Anteverti as a consultant in 2024. She has experience in research and consulting on projects related to urban planning, active mobility, inclusive public spaces, and affordable housing in Europe and Latin America. Before joining our team, she worked for the Despacio Foundation in Colombia and at the “Cities, Housing, and Real Estate Sector” Chair at Sciences Po. She holds a master’s degree in Governance of Large Metropolises from Sciences Po, where she graduated with an Honorary Mention of End of Studies Cum Laude, and a bachelor’s degree in Global Studies. Berta has also authored numerous academic publications on the topics she has worked on and conducted training sessions on citizen and community participation processes related to public space, inclusion, and gender. Now, let's invite Berta to share more about herself! 🌐 A professional milestone? Conducting field research about the Manzanas del Cuidado of Bogotá, fulfilling my vocation for inclusive urbanism by studying and writing about a public policy that embraces care work as a principle for city planning. 🌍 Your three favorite cities? #Barcelona, #Paris, and #Bogotá. 🖼 A hobby? Visiting art museums, especially of modern art! 🎨 An artist that inspires you? Remedios Varo, a Catalan surrealist painter that developed her career in Mexico. Her work is a magic collection of ingenious details that never fails to amaze me. 🌞 Winter, spring, summer, or autumn? Summer! Despite the mosquito bites, it comes with delicious fruit and long days to enjoy the holidays.
