📢 We are pleased to announce the call for nominations for the 2025 EPS - PPCF Sylvie Jacquemot Early Career Prize, in collaboration with the Plasma Physics and Controlled Fusion (PPCF) journal published by IOP Publishing. 🏆 This prestigious prize recognises outstanding early-career plasma physicists and is named in honour of Prof. Dr. Sylvie Jacquemot from the Laboratoire pour l'Utilisation des Lasers Intenses (LULI) at the Ecole Supérieure Polytechnique in France. 🌍 Eligible nominees are persons of any nationality, based in any country, who have made a substantial contribution to plasma physics and who, on January 31 2025, have less than six years of work experience following the award of a doctoral degree or, in case they do not possess a doctoral degree, less than ten years of experience in full-time research. 📅 The periods of eligibility can be extended to account for career breaks, with documentary evidence provided. Nominees and nominators do not need to be members of the EPS, and self-nominations will be accepted.
