Immersive Exploration Medellín’s Entrepreneurial Ecosystem✨ Following the success of the International Startups Congress, the Spanish delegation, led by Red de Business Market Spain and Colombia, our CEO Thais Maria Glod Nuñez as Part of the Spanish Delegation, share two immersive days within Medellín's entrepreneurial ecosystem, connecting with and learning about key initiatives in the region. We participated in a networking event promoted by the #RioNegro City Hall as part of the Science, Technology, and Innovation Week within the framework of the City of Well-Being project. Sharing key cooperative projects focused on building a sustainability hub for Circular Bioeconomy, Nutria Parc, and the Paseo de las Aguas. We also visited the #CubodeInnovación in Rio Negro, the city’s innovation hub and part of the "Smart and Innovative Rio Negro" strategy. This space, developed with input from the city’s Department of Culture, fosters knowledge exchange and training around 4.0 technologies, strengthening local innovation. Part of the collaboration Agreement between City of Rio negro and Business Market Network The visit continued at Ruta N Medellin Medellin's Center for Innovation and Business, which enhances residents’ quality of life through science, technology, and innovation. We had the opportunity to learn about their strategic initiatives, enjoy nature-inspired coworking space (of nearly 10,000 sqm), and hear about their plans to promote entrepreneurship and innovation, especially through the @Medellín Venture Capital fund. This has been a truly enriching experience, showcasing Medellín’s potential as a growing ecosystem for innovation and sustainability. Innobound’s Contributions to the International Startups Congress – Medellín Edition 🌎🚀 What an incredible event to showcase the vibrant innovation ecosystem of Medellín! Our CEO Thais Maria Glod Nuñez was honored to be among the 60 key players of the Spanish delegation, actively contributing to various activities aimed at strengthening and enhancing the local innovation landscape. The Congress provided a unique opportunity for knowledge sharing and impactful networking, including 1-on-1 mentoring and pitch sessions with over 300 startups in sectors like #Healtech, #AgroTech, #Tourism and #Wellbeing, and #ArtTech. These interactions helped mobilize nearly €1.5 million in investments for startups within the Medellín innovation ecosystem! As part of the event’s knowledge exchange, our CEO also contributed to the roundtable titled "Sectors of Growth and Innovation in the Startup Ecosystem: #SilverEconomy, #Health, #Sustainability, and #Technology." Masterfully moderated Carlos Contreras Manrique, the panel included Erik Díaz Fuentes, CEO of Xenior Studio, discussing the Silver Economy, Mariano Barbero Martinez, CEO of @Dinamiza, focusing on health investment, and Thais Glod, who shared insights on the #ClimatePact, #GreenTransition and the #NetZero challenge facing both Latam and Europe.
