“Let’s be driven by facts and science, not fear!” – a powerful statement from Hon. @Dr. Sabin Nsanzimana, Rwanda’s Minister of Health, during his Opening Remarks at the Africa HealthTech Summit 2024 in Kigali! These words resonated with us throughout the summit, underscoring both the promise and the challenges of AI and machine learning in healthcare. While excitement is high, there’s a shared need to address adoption hesitancies and to clearly define AI’s role for patients, providers, governments, and innovators alike. We were thrilled to share the stage with @gatesfoundation, @RISA, @jazarift and @prof, to dive deeper into these conversations, unpacking the state of AI in healthcare across Africa and sharing YeneHealth’s vision for using tech & Ai to revolutionize women’s health by enabling smarter clinical decisions and early diagnoses. Engaging with Rwanda’s vibrant culture and witnessing the African Union’s and various government’s strong commitment to advancing AI in healthcare made this summit all more exciting. We were honored to network with key players, exchange insights, and announce our own exciting milestone: YeneHealth is now available for women in Rwanda! We look forward to working closely in the Rwandan ecosystem and invite the community to join us in transforming health outcomes for women across Africa. Thank you for a great summit! See you next year! #YeneHealth #AfricaHealthTech #KigaliLaunch #HealthcareInnovation #FemTech #Rwanda #Kigali #Ethiopia
