🔷 Publication of Adan’s memorandum on Tokenisation Tokenisation is profoundly transforming financial markets and economic infrastructures. Its potential is immense, but its implementation raises many questions, both in terms of regulatory frameworks and the infrastructures needed for its development. To provide a structured and well-documented framework for these challenges, the Adan is publishing today a memorandum on tokenisation, the result of work conducted within the Tokenisation Committee, under the direction of Cassandre Vassilopoulos and Inés Beneyto. A Framework to understand and structure tokenisation This document serves several key objectives: 1️⃣ Clarify what tokenisation truly entails, distinguishing it from existing mechanisms such as securitization or simple asset fractionalization. 2️⃣ Identify technical and regulatory challenges to ensure effective and secure adoption. 3️⃣ Highlight the economic benefits, particularly in terms of modernizing financial infrastructures and optimizing asset liquidity. The challenge is clear: facilitating the transition from isolated experiments to large-scale, real-world applications. Adoption is underway, but challenges remain The year 2025 marks a decisive milestone in structuring tokenised markets. France, already a leading player in digital asset regulation, must leverage its progress to reinforce its leadership and build a competitive ecosystem at the European level.
