Grâce à nos télescopes situés aux quatre coins du monde, nous suivons et analysons ces manœuvres, levant le voile sur une stratégie d’espionnage où la règle du "pas vu, pas pris" prévaut encore trop souvent. Une proximité qui n’est pas sans risque : "À moins de 5 km, un satellite peut observer la forme des antennes, leur orientation et même prendre des images détaillées", souligne-t-il. 🎙 Today, our CTO Alexis Petit presented Aldoria's latest research at #CapTech, contributing to the future of space object detection, tracking, and characterization. Why is this crucial? In an era where space is increasingly contested and congested, understanding the behavior of space objects is critical. Aldoria is pioneering a high-fidelity simulation environment that models sensor networks—both ground-based and space-based—to assess their performance in real-world scenarios. What’s new? ✅ Our platform generates synthetic sensor data, feeding it into Aldoria’s SSA data system to evaluate detection, tracking, and event characterization capabilities. ✅ First applied in the SPRING project (European Defence Fund), this approach reached TRL4, demonstrating its value in threat detection scenarios. ✅ With partners like Nurjana Technologies, we’re now exploring big data and AI-driven analytics to push these simulations even further. What’s next? This work is a game-changer for space operations, offering not just a powerful assessment tool but also a realistic training environment for operators.
