The Chemistry Council at Entegris had the distinct pleasure of hosting Dr. John Warner, one of the founders of the field of green chemistry. During his seminar, “Materials Metabolism: Green Chemistry for a Circular Economy," Dr. Warner reviewed his 12 principles of green chemistry and shared his theory that 80% of sustainable technologies haven’t been invented yet. To help solve what he sees as a crisis of invention in materials science, Dr. Warner offered several case studies on creating successful and profitable products sustainably. We thank Dr. John Warner for the opportunity to learn from one of the leaders of the green chemistry movement. Here at Entegris, we’re working towards advancing a circular economy as part of our CSR innovation goals. Are critical process fluids getting stuck inside your filters? Every filter design has what’s known as “holdup volume”, which is material that gets trapped inside the internal flow path. If you’re working with stem cells, gene therapies, or mRNA, each milliliter of this material is a significant investment. Read our new blog and learn how to minimize holdup volume while maximizing process performance: https://bit.ly/4fjcmNM #biotechnology #lifesciences #genetherapy #stem #cellandgenetherapy

Did you know that silicon carbide (SiC) is significantly harder than traditional silicon? This means that planarization demands much more slurry, raising concerns about recycling and wastewater management. 🌊 That’s why we’re excited for Entegris’ upcoming webinar “Challenges in Scaling SiC Power Chip Manufacturing: A Material Supplier's Perspective” on October 29. The presentation from Pankaj Singh, Director, R&D AMM Substrates and Specialty Materials, will focus on slurry recycling and water treatment, helping chipmakers save on costs and mitigate environmental concerns as they manage this challenging material. 💰🌍🔬 Register now and make sure to also catch the featured Entegris session at SEMICON Europa this week! 👉 https://lnkd.in/dGB9b_2y #siliconcarbide #semiconductor #innovation #SEMIEurope
