How do Findymail credits work? With Findy, you get TWO different types of credits: finder credits and verifier credits. Need to look up a valid email address or phone number? You'll use your finder credits. Have a list of email addresses from another provider and want to make sure they're safe to use? That's what verifier credits are for. Why do we do it this way? First, because we don't think you should have to pay twice to get one usable piece of contact data. If we find it for you, we think you should be able to use it without paying to check our work. Second, because we recognize that some folks will always want or need to source contact data from other sources and tools. No reason why we shouldn't help them clean it up. What's the difference between a catch-all email and a valid email? 🤔🤔🤔 A ✨ catchall email ✨ address is a mailbox that captures emails sent to invalid email addresses at a domain. Think: nmae@domain.io instead of name@domain.io. The tricky part? Some domains have 'em, some don't and sending to a 'catchall' address comes with risk, because sending to a non-existent address hurts your deliverability and your sender reputation. A ✨ valid email address ✨ is one that a verifier tool has confirmed to exist. Different tools use different methods to check, which is why the answer you get will vary. (And why we're not a fan of waterfall verification.) To the extent possible, you only want to send emails to valid addresses to protect your sender reputation. Nothing gets you routed to SPAM faster than repeated hard bounces. So, the answer to, "What's the difference between a catchall and a valid email address?" is... Nothing. A catchall is just like any other email address and can be either valid or invalid. Most email providers put catchall emails in a separate category or flag them as "risky" because they can't validate them. We can. That's why we advise including them in your campaigns - so long as you're using Findymail as your verifier. To actually filter by industry, try this: ➡️ Go to 'Account' and create a new list. ➡️ Search for relevant companies based on your criteria (e.g., industry, technology used, headcount). ➡️ Use Findymail 💌 to save the results. ➡️ Now go to 'Lead' and filter your Sales Navigator search using your account list. ➡️ Enjoy the results when you send hyper-targeted cold email campaigns.
