#UK: Qair acquires Green Switch Capital (GSC), a UK–based renewable energy developer specialized in solar PV, battery storage (BESS) and onshore wind technologies. GSC' pipeline of over 15 GW will add to Qair’s existing portfolio in the UK, which already includes offshore wind, energy from waste, and onshore renewable projects. With this acquisition Qair aims to expand and diversify its presence in the UK and position itself as a major renewable player in the country. #GreenHydrogen: Qair Strengthens International Collaboration Strategy for the production of Renewable Hydrogen    Qair France - Qair Group and Qair Brasil - Qair Group’s teams recently met at our local offices in Fortaleza to share mutual experiences and valuable insights in the development of ambitious H2 production projects.     🇧🇷 Our Brazilian teams presented ongoing development of hydrogen production projects in the region of Ceará. One of these, called H2'Fraternité, will be constructed on the port of Pecém, poised to become one of the most promising hubs to produce hydrogen and its derivatives (ammonia, e-fuel, steel, and more).    🇫🇷  Our French teams presented the Group's Hydrogen strategy, as well as the projects currently under development. Among these, Hyd’occ, France's largest renewable hydrogen production unit, currently under construction.     This exchange of knowledge and expertise marks a significant step in our global hydrogen initiatives, confirming our determination to acquire robust experience in this field through international cooperation 🤝    🌎 Currently developing and building over 7 GW of H2 projects in various regions around the world, Qair is committed to playing a key role in delivering renewable hydrogen and its derivatives both locally and abroad, contributing to the global effort to foster decarbonisation.    #Hydrogen #RenewableEnergy #Decarbonisation  

#Iceland: Based in Reykjavik, Qair is a leading wind power developer in the country since 2018, now focusing also on renewable hydrogen. 💨💦 Our local team operate a total of 18 MW from our Thykkvibaer #wind farm and our Holsvirkjun, Koldukvislarvirkjun, Thverarvirkjun, and Tjarnarvirkjun #hydropower plants. Simultaneously, they are developing a pipeline of over 1.7 GW of wind and hydro projects, diversified around the country, with the aim to contribute to the energy transition and climate commitments of Iceland. 💧The hydrogen team is currently developing an 840 MW ammonia plant at the industrial port of Grundartangi. Our project portfolio is complemented by 2 #renewablehydrogen refuelling stations in operation, with 4 more in development, enabling light and heavy mobility to travel around Iceland powered by renewable hydrogen. Groupe Qair with Energy Observer on her arrival in Paris for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games 🇫🇷   Our partner Energy Observer, the world first autonomous vessel powered by a mix of renewable energies and hydrogen, is back in Paris on the occasion of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.   Qair’s founder, Jean-Marc Bouchet, was onboard for the occasion.   After escorting the boat back to her homeport in Saint-Malo last month to celebrate the end of her round-the-world Odyssey, Qair was very honored to be present for this other symbolic moment, as Paris is where this great journey began seven years ago, when the vessel was christened in the presence of the Mayor of Paris and the French Minister for Ecological Transition.   Moored very close to our headquarters for a three-month stopover, we will have the opportunity to share some special moments aboard the boat.   Stay tuned! 🔜   #renewableenergies #greenhydrogen #energyobserver #exploringpositiveenergies #energytransition 📷 ©️Energy Observer Productions | A. #Germany: Qair commissions solar park in Volkertshausen ☀️    Located on the shores of Lake Constance, the pv farm's 1.5 hectares will be maintained by 40 sheep 🐑 Known as conservation grazing, this natural technique provides farmers with land to graze their livestock while providing an ecological alternative to mechanical maintenance of the areas, with benefits such as:     ✅ Reduced fuel consumption and pollution associated with the use of machinery  ✅ Reduction in green waste  ✅ Natural soil fertilisation  ✅ Limitation of overgrowth and control of invasive plant species.    Congratulations to Qair Deutschland on completing another project! #Poland: Qair commissions Pakość, a 10 MW photovoltaic farm in the Inowrocław district    Pakość is part of a 3 PV park portfolio  ☀️ totaling 120 MW which includes an 80 MW project in the West Pomeranian province and a 30 MW project in central Wielkopolskie province.    🎯 Commissioning of these additional projects is expected in the next coming months.     Congratulations to Qair Polska - Qair Group’s team for this achievement which increases the company’s polish total installed capacity to 398 MW 👏    Active on the Polish market since 2015, Qair currently develops over 5 GW of solar and wind projects throughout the country.     The company offers energy sales to large businesses under long-term cPPAs. #UK: Groupe Qair acquires a majority stake in Northacre Renewable Energy Ltd (NREL). NREL is a company established to deliver the Northacre #EnergyfromWaste facility in Westbury, Wiltshire.  Qair aims to provide an outlet for 243,000 tons per year non-recyclable residual fraction of the waste by completing the development of the NREL #EfW project, which will also generate up to 24 megawatts (MW) of sustainable base load electricity in the near future. Following the purchase of the Centre for Horsham Energy Recovery (CHER) project in Horsham in September 2022, this transaction marks Qair’s second acquisition of an Energy from Waste project in the UK. #Spain: Qair sponsors and participates in a duathlon in Villarejo-Periesteban (Castilla–La Mancha)      🏃♀️🚴♂️ This event gathered approximately 78 athletes who competed in a challenging race consisting of a 5-kilometer run, a 23-kilometer bike ride, and a final 2.5-kilometer run.     Despite adverse weather conditions necessitating route adjustments, the event was a resounding success, with all participants completing the demanding course.     Following the race, Qair's Inigo Viani DesplatsRedier and Alicia Gonzalez-Pola Alfaro, alongside local authorities, presented the prizes to the triumphant athletes.    🌬️☀️ Qair is currently developing three hybrid wind and solar photovoltaic projects in the region, a cornerstone of which is seamless integration with the local environmental and social landscape.    #renewableenergy #windenergy #solarenergy #energytransition
