🎤 Our CEO, Olivier Binet, was on stage to discuss the daily mobility challenges in rural areas at the FNTV’s annual congress. 🇫🇷 Minister of Transport François DUROVRAY opened the ceremony emphasizing the priority on developing solutions for the millions of French citizens who travel more than 80 km each day to get to work. The Minister aims to tackle the issue of long daily commutes "which not only pollute but also pollute daily life." 👉 The challenges are shared. 👉 Priorities are set. ⚡️ Now, it's time for action ⚡️ The good news is that solutions are already here, ready to operationalize political will. 📚 This is highlighted by the "Rural Mobility Guide" unveiled by FNTV with ready-to-use solutions (Ecov Padam Mobility Via) that are already working and deployed in rural areas. The path to making carpooling a new standard for everyday transport is still long, but Karos will not slow down its efforts and will remain at the forefront, as a trusted partner for key players in the territories. 📣🇪🇸 New Spanish Territory with Ajuntament d'Onda partnership 🚗💨 We were excited for our Spanish Territory Manager Aurélien OUVRARD to be on the ground with Deputy Mayor Vicente Bou to launch a new carpooling service during European Mobility Week! 🌍🚀 Supported by the European Regional Development Fund #ERDF, this initiative will work to reduce CO₂ emissions and improve daily commutes for the city. Vicent Bou, Deputy Mayor said: “Thanks to this initiative, Onda has established itself as a benchmark in innovation. Our goal is to continue finding technological solutions that help improve the quality of life for Onda’s residents and protect the environment.” Key highlights of the initiative: 💼 Government incentives: Drivers and passengers receive compensation, and passengers get their first 5 trips free. 🤝 Collaboration with local businesses: Simplifying employee commutes and cutting carbon footprints. 📱 Karos app: Free to download and easy to use—just register and start connecting! 🤝Promoting daily carpooling through collaboration 🚗 Following the huge success of our first event, we were proud to continue with edition II of our “Rencontres du Covoiturage” [Carpooling workshop] 🌱Held in the beautiful Joséphine Pavilion at Parc de l’Orangerie in Strasbourg, Région Grand Est & Karos organised the event as an opportunity to bring together the region’s elected officials, public authorities, and private employers to workshop the region’s sustainable mobility solutions 🏛️ ✨Keynote speeches by Alain Jund , Vice-President of Mobility for the Ville et Eurométropole de Strasbourg and Joachim Renaudin, General Manager of Karos, set the stage for a panel discussion featuring: - Cécile Le Quesne Head of Mobility Department at the City and Eurometropolis of Strasbourg - Juliette Oberlé , Mobility Climate Coordinator at PETR Bruche Mossig - Etienne Jund , Mobility Officer at the Communauté de Communes du Pays de Sainte Odile - DISTEL Catherine Care Management Specialist at Hager France Participants engaged in two workshops: 🛠️ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐨: Understanding how to adopt more sustainable mobility practices.
