Glad that Knutsen LNG France borrowed a ship's model to Grand Port Maritime de Marseille - Port de Marseille Fos for their temporary exhibition in Marseille. This new place " Port Center" will offer a unique opportunity to Marseille inhabitants and pupils from schools and university to discover the diversity of possible careers in the maritime sector. A great initiative towards reuniting public and maritime, and to enhance attractiveness of the maritime careers, which we are happy to support. 🤩 We are thrilled to report that we held our new office opening ceremony in Nantes on this 1st of October 2024. 🤩   Knutsen Group started its operations in France early 2021 and to cope with its current growth decided to move into a newly refurbished office in Nantes. Nicely renovated by Qualytim with EBEN ARCHITECTURE, the building is about 100 years old and was originally a small theater. It now hosts the 24 shore staff of Knutsen LNG France, looking after the vessels manning, operations, safety and financing, with the support of the head office in Haugesund, Norway and other branches in Spain, Philippines and our manning partner in Romania.   The opening ceremony was chaired by Trygve Seglem, Knutsen OAS Chairman, Synnøve Seglem, KOAS Managing Director and Ludovic Gerard, Knutsen LNG France President. In addition to Knutsen colleagues and few officers, a number of stakeholder’s representatives were attending this friendly event.   Knutsen now owns and manages 12 LNG Carriers from its French office, the latest delivered mid September being named after its new head office “Nantes Knutsen”. 14 more vessels are due to be delivered in the coming years, all long time chartered by LNG majors.

We are thrilled to report the delivery today 13th September 2024, of NANTES KNUTSEN, named after the city of our office in France 😊 .    Built by Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries with hull 8100, she is chartered to SHELL.   Many thanks to all teams involved in the construction, financing, management and delivery of the vessel !   To NANTES KNUTSEN and all crew on board, we wish a safe sailing and fair winds,   Bon Voyage !

We had the pleasure this week to welcome in our premises our newly promoted Captain Adrien Berthet. After an induction by Damien Walgraef, Arnaud Gibrais and the rest of our team , he will be joining our Registre international français (RIF) French Flag 🇨🇵⚓ Extremadura Knutsen for an handover.
