A Successful Step Towards a Greener Future: Our Second Tree-Planting Initiative🌿🌳 We are excited to share that our second tree-planting initiative has been an incredible success! On a beautiful, sun-drenched day, 20 of our colleagues joined by family members, gathered to make a lasting impact on the environment. With shovels in hand and smiles on our faces, we set out to plant 100 trees — a task that was not only rewarding but also strengthened our bonds as a team. This initiative was made possible through our partnership with the non-profit environmental organization, we4all ! Their guidance and expertise were crucial in ensuring that this event was not just an enjoyable day out, but also a meaningful contribution to the environment. Through this collaboration, we didn’t just plant trees; we planted hope for a greener future for the generations to come. Beyond the environmental impact, the event was a true reflection of our company’s vision and values. It reinforced our commitment to Sustainability and our dedication to creating positive change in the world. It also nurtured a strong sense of community among our team, as we came together with a shared purpose and a common goal. We proudly join industry leaders across the maritime value chain to call for faster and bolder action to increase uptake of scalable zero and near-zero emission fuel (SZEF), investment in SZEF enabled vessels, port upgrades and global development of green hydrogen infrastructure that leaves no country behind. Organized by RMI the UN High-Level Climate Champions, UCL Energy Institute and the United Nations Foundation this Call to Action demonstrates strong industry momentum to invest in decarbonization through scalable zero emission fuel pathways. Clearly defined regulation is needed to strengthen the business case to complement and amplify industry momentum to reduce emissions. To speed up the adoption of hydrogen-derived fuels, we need clear, ambitious mid-term measures, a balanced approach to revenue distribution to help bridge the cost gap between fossil fuels and scalable zero-emission fuels (SZEFs), and evidence that key milestones for practical use of SZEFs are advancing.
