✅Just one week ago REACT Project EU participated on the workshop “EU Geographical Islands as Leaders of Green Energy Transition” under the frame of Sustainable Places Conference! The workshop brought together a selection of sister projects dealing with islands’ decarbonisation and clean energy transition, aimed at presenting their experience with the EU bodies, the financial schemes as well as their main technical outcomes. The Sustainable Places 2024 workshop, similarly to what has been done during this same initiative starting from 2021, is looking forward to the reinforcement of the synergies already created among the H2020-HEU-LIFE-Interreg projects NESOI - The European Island Facility , IANOS H2020 project, REACT Project EU, RE-EMPOWERED EU-India Project, SMHYLES EU, ISLET, IES Ltd. STEP-WISE, Energy Cities, Masterpiece The workshop was the perfect space to get input from lessons learned from other projects. Avendo come faro la mission di R2M Solution di colmare il gap tra la ricerca e il mercato, nel progetto NEON abbiamo perseguito questo obiettivo collegando la ricerca con i cittadini. Grazie alla collaborazione con i cittadini di Berchidda, un piccolo comune sardo, abbiamo sviluppato una piattaforma #P2G (Peer-to-Grid) La piattaforma rende più agile la rivendita dell’energia in eccesso nel mercato energetica rendendo il cittadino/produttore di energia rinnovabile autonomo.   La piattaforma mira a promuovere quindi lo sviluppo delle #comunitàenergetiche potendo la comunità rivendere l’energia e capitalizzare l’investimento. La elección de los primeros materiales del prototipo experimental de electrolizador del proyecto NITRO-D-CELL han sido un éxito. Los ensayos con N-derivados muestran un rendimiento electroquímico en los electrodos superior al estado del arte actual. Como consecuencia, durante las próximas actividades, trabajaremos en la validación del funcionamiento de la celda completa considerando los avances en los electrodos conseguidos. El proyecto NITRODCELL explora el desarrollo de un electrolizador basado en compuestos derivados de la urea en lugar de en agua. Este enfoque basado en derivados ricos en nitrógeno y que son productos de desecho, reduce la densidad energética requerida para la producción de hidrógeno, lo que nos permite minimizar los valores típicos de consumo de los electrolizadores disponibles en el mercado. IMDEA Energía GFM FOTOVOLTAICA están uniendo fuerzas para conseguir un primer prototipo demostrador de electrolizador para trabajar en un entorno simulado relevante. El proyecto ha sido acogido dentro del Programa de incentivos 4: retos de investigación básica-fundamental de IDAE. Instituto para la Diversificación y Ahorro de la Energía en el marco del Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y Resilencia.
