[NEW CONTRACT FOR REACTOR DISMANTLING IN UK] Post in ENG/FR   ✨ Following a successful tender submission, NUVIA is pleased to have been awarded a key contract for reactor dismantling at Trawsfynydd Nuclear Power Plant. NUVIA will provide a solution for the safe dismantling, retrieval and processing of all reactor components internal to the Bioshield, for both reactors at the site. 🤝 This adds to the scope of works NUVIA has been delivering for long-standing client NRS over many years, which recently included the SD3 (Scheme Design 3) bio-shield break-in package at Trawsfynydd. 🚀 NUVIA’s extensive experience in developing and implementing bespoke nuclear decommissioning solutions will be invaluable in ensuring the timely and successful delivery of this work for NRS.  ----------------------------------------------- ✨ À la suite d'un appel d'offres fructueux, NUVIA a le plaisir d’annoncer l’obtention d’un contrat clé pour le démantèlement des réacteurs de la centrale nucléaire de Trawsfynydd. [YOUTH NUCLEAR CONGRESS] Post in ENG/FR   ✨ Earlier this month, NUVIA was invited to the International Youth Nuclear Congress (IYNC) 2024 organised in Abu Dhabi. IYNC is a biennial congress dedicated to the young generation of nuclear enthusiasts. For this years’ edition, IYNC worked with the Barakah Youth Council and the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation and organized it with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). 🎙️ Farah Chahma, CEO of NUVIA Middle East, had the privilege of participating in the panel discussion on diversity in the nuclear industry. It was an opportunity to recall the strong commitment of NUVIA and all the actions in NUVIA entities around Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to inspire the next generation of nuclear leaders. -------------------------------- ✨ Au début du mois, NUVIA a été invité à l'International Youth Nuclear Congress (IYNC) 2024 organisé à Abu Dhabi. Launched in Rosendahl, the program aims to improve the environmental performance of participating companies and promote more sustainable business practices. NUVIA is focusing on structuring its environmental reporting and reducing its ecological footprint. The project is supported by B.A.U.M. [WOMEN IN NUCLEAR] Post in FR/ENG 📢Sebastien DIAZ, Directeur de NUVIA France, entre au Conseil d’Administration de WIN France ! 👷♀️NUVIA était présent à la convention annuelle WIN France qui s’est tenue la semaine dernière à Aix en Provence sur le Campus des Arts et Métiers. WIN a pour objectif de développer la mixité en donnant envie aux jeunes filles de rejoindre les domaines scientifiques et techniques, et favoriser le partage entre réseaux de femmes. ✅Lors de cette convention, l’Assemblée Générale a voté son bureau et Emmanuelle Galichet, Présidente de WIN France avait pour ambition de faire entrer au conseil d’administration des directeurs d’entreprises de la filière du nucléaire afin de faire bouger les lignes chez les acteurs majeur du nucléaire en France. C’est chose faite ! ✨Nous avons le plaisir d’annoncer l’entrée de Sébastien Diaz, Directeur de NUVIA France, au Conseil d’Administration de WIN France. [Nouveau marché de PGAC à Gravelines] Post in FR/ENG ✅NUVIA en groupement avec OMS Energie a remporté le marché de Prestation Globale d’Assistance Chantier (PGAC) de la centrale nucléaire de Gravelines pour une durée de 5 ans. De nombreuses entités de NUVIA France seront présentes sur l'ensemble des activités de la PGAC : logistique, nettoyage industriel, outillages, échafaudages et moyens d'accès. 👷👷♀️Cette PGAC sur la plus grande centrale de France avec 6 tranches dont systématiquement au moins deux tranches à l’arrêt pour maintenance et/ou rechargement du bâtiment réacteur implique l’intégration d’environ 200 collaborateurs pour NUVIA et 200 collaborateurs pour OMS Energie. ---------------------------------- ✅NUVIA, in a consortium with OMS Energie, has won the 5-year contract to provide Global Site Assistance Services for the Gravelines nuclear power plant in France. Various NUVIA France companies will be involved in all aspects of the contract, including logistics, industrial cleaning, tools, scaffolding and access equipment.   👷👷♀️This Global Site Assistance Services contract at France's largest power plant with 6 units, including at least two that are systematically shut down for maintenance and/or recharging of the reactor building, involves the integration of around 200 employees for NUVIA and 200 for OMS Energie. #nuvia #supportingyourenergy #proudofnuclear Soletanche Freyssinet

[VINCI ENVIRONMENT DAY 2024] Post in ENG|FR 🌍♻️🌿One week ago on September 24th was VINCI Environment Day, a day on which all VINCI Group companies and thus NUVIA are involved in environmental issues through awareness-raising workshops, presentations and themed events on our sites and in our offices. ✅This year's theme was "Together, let's reduce our CO2 emissions.” Raising awareness and sharing information about our carbon impact and our current and future actions is key to moving our business forward in this direction. At NUVIA, the environment is a daily concern. [Biking challenge/VINCI Environment Day/Site visit] Post in ENG|FR   🎯Every year, NUVIA Board visits sites where our teams operate. Last week, part of the Board was in Sweden to visit the Ringhals Nuclear Power Plant, where we are responsible for dismantling units 1 and 2.   🌏It was decided to add an environmental dimension to the visit in order to take part in VINCI's Environment Day, which takes place every year in September, as well as a social dimension to help an association close to the nuclear power plant.   🚲The team cycled approx. 400 km between NUVIA Nordic offices at Norrköping and the nuclear power plant at Ringhals over 3 days. Each kilometer covered will be converted into a donation. The total sum will be donated to a local charity linked with the environment and to be chosen by NUVIA employees working at Ringhals power plant.    🤝To round off the challenge, the Board visited the NPP with some of the local teams and our customer Vattenfall. Thank you for the visit and the warm Swedish welcome! --------------------------------------- 🎯Chaque année, le Comité de Direction de NUVIA visite des sites sur lesquels nos équipes opèrent. La semaine dernière une partie du Comité de Direction était en Suède pour visiter la centrale nucléaire de Ringhals dans laquelle nous sommes en charge du démantèlement des unités 1 et 2. 🌏Nous avons décidé d'ajouter à cette visite une dimension environnementale afin de s'associer à la journée de l'environnement de VINCI qui a lieu tous les ans en septembre, ainsi qu'une dimension sociale pour aider une association proche de la centrale nucléaire. 🚲L'équipe a donc parcouru à vélo sur 3 jours les 400 km qui séparent les bureaux de NUVIA Nordic à Norrköping de la centrale nucléaire à Ringhals. Chaque kilomètre parcouru sera valorisé et donnera lieu à une donation. La somme totale sera versée à une association locale en lien avec l’environnement qui sera choisie par les collaborateurs de NUVIA travaillant à la centrale de Ringhals. 🤝Pour clôturer ce challenge, le Comité de Direction a pu visiter la centrale avec une partie des équipes locales ainsi que notre client Vattenfall. Merci pour cette visite et l'accueil en Suède ! #nuvia #supportingyourenergy #proudofnuclear Soletanche Freyssinet
