#PowerRestoration | Our teams in the USA are mobilizing to restore power and bring hope to affected communities.   PrimeLine Utility Services distribution and transmission crews from The Bowlin Group, C.W. Wright Construction Company, LLC., and Chain Electric Company, part of our Omexom network in the U.S., have been working relentlessly over the past few weeks in response to two major hurricanes.   Their mission? To restore power and bring hope to the communities affected by these devastating storms.   🔧Hurricane Helene Response: Crews began mobilizing on September 24th. While most outages have been restored, we still have teams working tirelessly to repair critical infrastructure in areas of western North Carolina that were hit hardest.   🌪️ Hurricane Milton Response: After completing their work in North Carolina, many of our crews immediately headed to Florida to begin restoration after Hurricane Milton made landfall on October 9th near Siesta Key.   ⚡ By the Numbers: - Helene left more than 4 million households without power from Florida to Virginia as of September 27th. - Hurricane Milton caused an additional 3.4 million outages in Florida by October 10th.   At the peak of the response we had over 15% of PrimeLine’s total workforce in the U.S. working on these critical storm responses.   A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated crews for their unwavering commitment to restoring power and hope in these challenging times. 👷♂️👷♀️ Matt Lambert John Steven Phillips Scott Taylor Nick Smith VINCI Energies    #Distributionwork #HurricaneRestoration #OmexomExpertise #WeAreOmexom

#SolarPower | Omexom Portugal reaffirms its dedication to the Energy Transition with the inauguration of the Morgavel solar power plant in Sines.   This innovative project marks RWE’s debut in the Portuguese solar market, representing a significant step for the region, recognized as one of the main renewable energy hubs in Europe. ☀️ 💡 Innovation and Sustainability - In partnership with AI Clearing, our teams used #artificialintelligence solutions to optimize installation and construction management processes, increasing efficiency and the creation of clean energy. They internally developed the Green Container, a solution that replaces diesel generators, resulting in up to 90% savings in diesel consumption and significantly reducing CO2 emissions. ⚙️ Advanced Technology - The Morgavel solar power plant uses the latest #bifacialmodules and single-axis trackers, as well as central inverters that ensure the highest safety standards. The bifacial technology allows electricity to be produced from both sides of the panel, making it more efficient. 🌍 Positive Impact - With an installed capacity of 44 MWac (49 MWp), the Morgavel solar park aims to generate enough green energy to power more than 45,000 homes, reinforcing the renewable energy footprint. #Transmission | Omexom is proud to have played a part in a transformative project for Cameroon, a country poised to become sub-Saharan Africa's second-largest hydroelectric producer. 🌍 Our Omexom teams successfully constructed a 105 km #highvoltage line through the dense rainforest, connecting the Lom Pangar power plant to a #substation in Bertoua, enhancing electricity access for 150 localities in the East Region. In a region where 43% of the population lacks electricity, this project is crucial for Cameroon’s goal of universal access to energy by 2035. By harnessing its vast #hydroelectric potential, the country is reducing dependence on fossil fuels and moving towards a more #sustainable future. This project, delivered in #cooperation with Omexom Morocco, required immense coordination and skill. Together, our teams managed the complex civil engineering, construction of 366 towers, and fibre-optic links—all in challenging rainforest conditions, two days from the nearest port.🤝 💬 “The cooperation between Omexom Morocco and Omexom Cameroon was a major selling point in winning a contract of this size,” says Arnaud ALLIX, Business Unit Manager at Omexom Cameroon. #Substation | At the beginning of October, our colleagues from Omexom GCC hosted a successful site visit with a delegation from the Kuwaiti Fund for Economic Development and GCC Interconnection Authority ( GCCIA )’s CEO Ahmed Ali Al-Ebrahim. During the visit, our Omexom teams were proud to announce that the ‘Al-Wafrah Substation’ project in Kuwait has made remarkable progress, reaching 90% completion ! 📈 This milestone reflects the tireless efforts of our teams in delivering high-quality work that exceeds customer expectations. The 400kV Al-Wafrah Substation is set to be one of the largest in the Middle East, playing a vital role in the power system interconnection of the region.⚡ Our scope of work includes: ⚡ Constructing the 400kV substation in Al-Wafrah, Kuwait ⚡ Developing overhead transmission lines between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia ⚡ Expanding and automating substations in Al Fadhili (Saudi Arabia) and Al Fao (Iraq) Thanks to everyone involved in driving this project forward! #LEDLighting | Our Omexom teams are upgrading public lighting in the associated municipalites of Txorierri, located in Bilbao, Spain. In June, Omexom Spain began the process of converting this area, home to over 20,000 residents, to 100% #LED lighting 💡. The project includes the modernization of telemanagement systems across 173 lighting panels and 5,000 light points, leading to a 60% reduction in energy consumption for the region ✅. This upgrade will also enhance pedestrian visibility and safety by improving lighting at several crossings, with individual on/off control via the telemanagement system 🚶♀️. 📰 Interested in learning more? #DistributionWork | Reconstruction of Low Voltage Network in Hatvan, Near Budapest. Omexom in Hungary has successfully completed the #lowvoltage network reconstruction in the Hatvan residential area, near Budapest. ⚡ This project, which began last year, aimed to modernize, and secure outdated network elements, including poles, insulators, conductors, and consumer connections. Commissioned by ÉMÁSZ Hálózati Kft. and contracted to Energy Network Solutions Kft., the project saw significant contributions from other teams in Gyöngyös and Salgótarján. Eighteen of our Omexom network installation experts dedicated over 800 hours to this effort.
