Award of Design Contract for Fort Augustus 400kv Substation Extension We are delighted to announce that following on from the successful delivery of the Early Contractor Engagement contract phase, Omexom have been awarded the first call off contract awarded by SSE as part of the Pathway to 2030 transmission investment programme, to undertake the Part A Detailed Design Contract. Over the next 12 months this will see us develop the existing design ready for commencement of the construction stage in 2026. Omexom are delighted with the trust shown by SSEN Transmission to undertake this key project within the ASTI Framework and the Pathway to 2030.
