To mark its 60th anniversary, CEIPI (Center for International Intellectual Property Studies) organized a major conference on the theme of the General States of Intellectual Property. This unique event brought together renowned speakers from the world of intellectual property. Among them were Daren Tang, Director General of WIPO, Joao Negrão, Executive Director of the EUIPO, Pascal Faure, Director General of the INPI, as well as Jean-Marie Cavada, President of the Institute for Fundamental Digital Rights, and many other influential figures in this field. The rich debates provided a platform to address the current and future challenges of intellectual property, highlighting the importance of collaboration between the sector’s key players. On October 15, a gala brought together several hundred participants, including university professors, lawyers, intellectual property attorneys, in-house counsels, and other professionals in the field. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, all were able to celebrate the history and future of this vital institution. The conference continued the next day at the Palais Universitaire de Strasbourg. We had the honor and pleasure of supporting this event, and we would like to extend our sincere thanks to the entire Centre d'Etudes Internationales de la Propriété Intellectuelle - CEIPI team, and in particular Yann Basire, for associating us with this exceptional celebration.
