SOU FUJIMOTO ATELIER PARIS is a architecture, urbanism and design company based out of 3 RUE DE LA CHAPELLE, PARIS, France. Sou Fujimoto was born in Hokkaido, Japan. Graduated from the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo University, he established Sou Fujimoto Architects in 2000 in Tokyo Japan. In 2016, Sou Fujimoto opened an office in Paris - France, after won the 1st prize for “Pershing”, one of the sites in the French competition called 'Réinventer Paris', following the victories in the Invited International Competition for the New Learning Center at Paris-Saclay's Ecole Polytechnique and the International Competition for the Second Folly of Montpellier in 2014. In 2013 he became the youngest architect to design the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion in London. His notable works include; “Serpentine Gallery Pavilion 2013” (2013), “House NA” (2011), “Musashino Art University Museum & Library” (2010), “Final Wooden House”(2008), “House N” (2008) and many more.

The Méridia Tower, designed by renowned architect Sou Fujimoto Atelier Paris, stands 54 meters tall and features undulating canopies that resemble trees, emphasizing the connection between architecture and nature. 🌳 This innovative design is part of the Joia Méridia development, led by Lambert Lénack Architects, and includes contributions from a diverse team of architects such as Cino Zucchi and Chartier Dalix. The tower’s design is tailored to the Mediterranean climate, incorporating greenery on various levels to provide shade and enhance biodiversity. “Det er befriende med en udstilling uden de sædvanlige modeller og plancher." 💫 Fagbladet Arkitekten har anmeldt udstillingen ‘Primitive Future - Everything is circulating’ af den japanske stjernearkitekt Sou Fujimoto. Det centrale element i udstillingen, der lige nu kan opleves på Utzon Center, er en 500 meter lang, ubrudt stålwire, der snor sig gennem udstillingsrummene – næsten som en minimalistisk og tredimensionel blyantstegning ✏️ "Vandringen i arkitektens uendelige streg er en stor og anderledes oplevelse, som fanges umiddelbart og af alle besøgende,” står der yderligere i anmeldelsen.
