𝗢𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗩𝗔 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗲𝘆𝗲-𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 🌍👩💼 Today, as we celebrate International Women's Rights Day, we're proud to share striking insights from our latest global study on gender equality conducted by our team at BVA Xsight as part of the WIN | Worldwide Independent Network of MR & OP across 39 countries with nearly 35,000 respondents. 🚨 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗻  •13% of respondents worldwide reported experiencing physical or psychological violence in the past year. • Young women are particularly affected, with 18% of women aged 18-24 reporting violence. • 16% of young women globally (18-24) reported sexual harassment. 🏠 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 • 69% of global respondents believe gender equality exists at home (+5pts from 2024) • The data reveals persistent gaps in household tasks, with women still performing most domestic duties • Sweden stands as the only country with a positive gender gap in household tasks (+0.7%) 💼 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀: 𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗮𝗽𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻  • Only 60% globally feel gender equality exists in the workplace. In France, this drops to just 42% • Politics shows the widest gap, with only 51% of global respondents seeing gender equality • Women consistently perceive greater inequality across all domains than men do The study was conducted by the WIN network between December 2, 2024, and February 7, 2025, with BVA Xsight handling the French portion among 1,001 participants. As we reflect on these findings, we're reminded that the journey toward true gender equality requires ongoing commitment, awareness, and action. The results are in: a score of 𝟯.𝟵𝟭/𝟱 (an improvement from 3.89/5 in 2023) with 77% positive feedback!
