The crew of the 58m (190ft) superyacht PINK SHADOW 🦩 got all the toys out while anchored just outside Monaco. 🇲🇨 Did you know that the reason the yacht is named Pink Shadow (despite its dark green colour) - is because she got her name after its predecessor. The original Pink Shadow was a support vessel for the owner’s 54m (174ft) Pink Gin VI sailing yacht. That yacht was sold to built the current Pink Shadow and the owner decided to keep the name. The new Pink Shadow is no longer a support yacht but a standalone one, combining the best of a luxury yacht and a rugged exploration vessel. Our town of Antibes had the pleasure of welcoming the impressive CLASSE ULTIM yachts to PORT VAUBAN ANTIBES for the Finistère Atlantique race – a challenging offshore competition where crews navigate from Brest to the Canary Islands, through the Azores, and finally finish in Antibes. The event brought a great energy to the town, with many gathering to witness these cutting-edge yachts and their skilled crews. A special congratulations to the Banque Populaire team, who not only secured victory by arriving in Antibes on October 2nd but also won the speed run on 5th October in an incredible 1.34 minutes. 🏆 Armel LE CLEAC'H and his team were awarded the Port Vauban Prize for their remarkable achievements. A huge well done to everyone who participated, cheered on the crews, and made this event special. At YPI CREW, we are proud to be based in a town that regularly showcases such exceptional yachting talent and innovation. It’s almost time! Monaco Yacht Show is about to kick off, and final touches are underway. This year’s show promises to be bigger and more exciting than ever – with the 122m (400ft) Kismet breaking the record as the largest yacht ever on display, and Admiral unveiling their 78m (256ft) superyacht Platinum, which has been kept firmly under wraps until now.
