💡 Joint session of #IDASH champions and #IDASH fellows have been conducted. 📣 Session on Health Financing issues in the region is going on and chaired by Elina Dale from Norwegian Institute of Public Health her impressive remark was “we often know what to do but not really know how to do” 💡 Ruth Waitzberg from European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies provided recommendations on effective use of resources to ensure the resilience during crisis.  📕 Mark highlighted the need of more empirical research on health system resilience in general and shared the insight of the work done in Ukraine on UHC reform during the invasions.  🇺🇦 Solomiya Kasyanchuk went us through health financing reforms of Ukraine and what happened during the war highlighting different aspects of the war affecting the health systems.  🔊 David Gzirishvili highlighted that each country calculates OOPs using different methods and using of different methods dramatically changes the portion of OOP.  🇰🇿 Ali Nurgozhaev from Kazakhstan focused on who else should be responsible for emergency situations and by whom / for what purposes should they be financed? 🔔 HSG Europe Regional Pre-Conference has been launched today. Health system researchers, policymakers and stakeholders from different countries are discussing the most important health policy and research priorities in the region with the specific focus on #Ukraine. 📣 Dr. Garry Aslanyan from WHO TDR welcomed participant and highlighted the importance of learning from each other. Our host Mr. Aleksander Pokanevych from Kyiv Medical University mentioned that together we are stronger in his welcoming words. Inspiring words were shared by Mr. Jarno Habicht and Mrs. Nino Berdzuli from WHO Ukraine and Poland. Adrianna Murphy highlighted the objectives focusing on identifying key research areas.
