A new chapter in Zagreb’s public transport ✨ After successfully delivering 142 trams to City of Zagreb / Grad Zagreb and 14 to Liepāja, Latvia, we are proud to announce that the first of 40 new trams for our city has just rolled out of our factory! 🚊 For 20 years, our partnership with ZET has been the backbone of Zagreb’s public transport. Maintaining a fleet that has covered 135 million kilometers, we take pride in keeping the city moving – efficiently, reliably, and sustainably. This latest low-floor tram arrived ahead of schedule. Transforming Osijek's public transport - new trams on the horizon! 🚊 Yesterday, Osijek Mayor Ivan Radić toured our manufacturing facility in Zagreb to review the production of 10 advanced low-floor trams for his city. KONČAR state-of-the-art tram is designed to enhance urban mobility with its 100% low-floor design, ensuring quick and easy passenger flow. These trams are designed to be safer, more comfortable, modern, and accessible for people with disabilities. This nearly €25 million initiative is funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
