5, 4, 3, 2, 1 - lift-off, we have lift-off! 🚀 On Saturday, at 12:34 pm, together with CroCube we wrote history as the first Croatian nanosatellite successfully launched into space! While flying over Croatia for the first time, at 08:16 pm on the same day, it sent us a verse from a Croatian poet Antun Branko Šimić (maybe something we should remember for 2025): Be careful not to go, small as thou are, under the stars, man! 💫 “Projects like this enable the development of science, technology and education, and write a positive story for the whole society. CroCube can help space exploration and stimulate young people’s interest in the STEM field and encourage and open doors for new innovators.“, said Ante Radoš, our Principal Engineer, and explained why Notch supported and sponsored Crocube. After three years of hard work and dedication from volunteers, like our own Head of .NET Divison, Josip Vinković, and Crocube space chief Daniela Jovic, Crocube is enjoying the view, flying 510 km above Earth, taking surface photos and conducting scientific measurements. 🛰️ With this historical moment, Croatia has become a part of 80 countries with satellites in space and now can be a part of further space research with its own data.
