About us
The Zagreb Stock Exchange represents a central Croatian equities marketplace. It was first established as the Commodities and Valuables Division of the Chamber of Commerce in 1907 and was active until 1911. It was reopened in 1919, closed down again in 1945 and reestablished in 1991. For 30 years ZSE leads the development of the capital market in the region while providing transparent, secure, cost-effective and efficient marketplace as well as obtaining the highest quality of capital market services in order to meet the needs of investors, issuers and all stakeholders.

🌍 On October 9th, we, North West Croatia Regional Energy and Climate Agency (REGEA), had a fruitful online round table session focused on green financing! 💡 We introduced the MESTRI-CE Evaluation Toolbox, which includes technical, financial, and economic analysis tools. These tools will estimate the costs of renovation or construction to achieve more climate-neutral buildings 🏗️. They will also identify both energy and non-energy-related benefits of renovation investments, helping key decision makers take concrete action 🎯. Moreover, we discussed an innovative green financing methodology, aligned with EU taxonomy and existing voluntary green standards. This methodology will be supported by transparent documentation for investors, tracking environmental impact, performance, and proceeds to ensure maximum transparency 🌱📊.
