On Monday, the 30th of September, 2024, Givaudan - Taste & Wellbeing celebrated the groundbreaking of a new production facility in Cikarang, Indonesia, attended by H.E. Olivier ZEHNDER, Ambassador of Switzerland to Indonesia, Timor-Leste, and ASEAN - Embassy of Switzerland in Indonesia. This milestone expands Givaudan's global manufacturing footprint and reinforces our commitment to grow in the Southeast Asia region. With an investment of CHF 50 million, the facility will create approximately 60 new jobs and support community programs related to health initiatives, driving local economic development. Designed with sustainability in mind, the facility will feature solar power, rainwater harvesting, and energy-efficient systems to minimize environmental impact. Construction is underway, and manufacturing is expected to start in the first half of 2026. Meet the World With SKF, a national youth football tournament, will soon be held in Indonesia. The tournament aims to find talented teams representing Indonesia at the Gothia Cup 2025 in Sweden, the world's largest youth football festival. This tournament is enthusiastically welcomed by Indonesia's Minister of Youth and Sports (Kementerian Pemuda dan Olahraga RI (Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia), Ario Bimo Nandito Ariotedjo and is part of SKF's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative through SKF Care, focusing on developing the younger generation through football.
