The AmCham Women in Global Organisations Peer Mentoring Programme continued last week, with Session 2 taking place for Ireland’s Southern, Western, and Eastern regions. It was fantastic to meet our participants again, who represent 95 AmCham member companies, kindly hosted by Dell Technologies, Johnson & Johnson | Vision, and Indeed. Last week's session, led by Lavinia Ryan-Duggan, centred on skills and techniques of Influence and Persuasion, with a focus on identifying core values, communicating with key stakeholders, and building collaborative teams. Participant speakers Natalia Kharitonova, Jennifer Conlon, and Rachel Barry also shared their leadership insights, speaking about multi-cultural teams, personal values, and the role of sponsors and mentors respectively. AmCham members can now apply to participate on the Spring 2025 cycle of the Women in Global Organisations (WGO) Peer Mentoring Programme. We were thrilled to kick off the 2024/25 AmCham Emerging Leaders Development Programme this morning in Citi This leadership programme is designed to shape the next generation of leaders through six dynamic modules over the next eight months, culminating in the much-anticipated AmCham Hackathon in May. What enriches this programme is the incredible diversity of thought and experience. We are proud to have 85 participants from over 55 AmCham member companies, representing a broad range of sectors and functions. Our first session, led by Mark Brooks from the Emergenetics team, centered on self-leadership. Through the exploration of 85 unique personal profiles, participants gained invaluable insights into their own behavioral and thinking preferences, as well as those of their peers. This heightened awareness is a critical step in enhancing their influence and leadership capabilities. We’re already eagerly anticipating Session 2 and can’t wait to build on the strong foundations laid today. A huge thank you to Davinia Conlan, Gar D., and the entire Citi team for hosting todays session. Thank you to the facilitators of todays session Kylie Seaman, Mark Brooks, and the wider Emergenetics International team. Thank you to the sponsors of the AmCham Emerging Leaders Development Programme, Accenture UK & Ireland and a special thank you to Hilary O'Meara and Derek Mcgrath. #AmChamLeaders
